Just drive brand new buses straight to Miller Street!

Was it a Hybrid Tony?
If so presumably for Bebbington Garage for the 109?
Nice shot there Tony - looks very smart. Can't wait to see NX versions next year.
What's the nx connection I thought nx off loaded them ages ago. Is it just sharing resources or something?
I was gonna say type training or vehicle familiarisation for GB-DTO's?

This is spooky - on Monday I saw a class 379 in the same livery as c2c, but with Abellio Stansted Express logos - in alternate red and blue lettering in national express font - I said to my colleague I didn't know national express still ran it and then I noticed the Abellio word.......... presumably nothing more than a canny borrowing of the NX brand style!!
Nice bus by the way.
Not sure if it's still asked, but on a job application for Abellio Greater Anglia, it did ask if the applicant has work for National Express Group or any associated companies. Same with the Abellio London and Surrey application firm, it asks if the applicant has worked for Travel London, National Express or any company associated with National Express
I'm told its parked at Wolverhampton garage this morning
Let the frothing commence lmao...

I thought so... It's at Wolverhampton. Evidently, from Ashley's comment & this photo: https://www.flickr.com/photos/retroscania/15936858632/
(Not my photo. If i'm not mistaken, I think the person goes by the name '4006' on this forum)

I'm going to share this on my WMBU Facebook page shortly, can't wait to start reading the speculation there! :D
Before I do though, is this actually an Abellio bus, or a demonstrator perhaps due to go to Abellio?
I would presume its at Wolverhampton after its visit to Miller Street because Alexander Dennis have offices or something there, don't they?

Fair enough, I'll let others do the speculating without me giving anything away! I just wonder if it is due to go to Abellio, but just being borrowed by NXWM for either a spot of type-training, or just for demonstration purposes, before continuing off down south to London. I didn't see any E400MMCs during my weekend in London, don't know if anyone has any yet down there?

I just checked on my VRM lookup and the pictured bus, YY64GXG, is a 8.3L diesel, not a hybrid (registered 27th Nov 2014).

Unusual then, have checked the Tenders due over the next few months and all buses are due to be Hybrid?

Maybe is just a demonstrator then. Will be interesting to see how long it stays in the Midlands for, as I don't doubt ADL would have some kind of non-TFL spec Enviro for NX to 'play' with. Another bit of speculation could be if NX were thinking about dual-door models to speed up loading and unloading?
have just asked on London Transport forum and am told it is more than likely a Demonstrator that appeared at the Abelio Walworth open day a few weeks ago.
When I drove past BC yesterday night this E400MMC was parked in the dead bay in the bus park.
Just left Pensnett to go to Perry Barr

Did it say that? I doubt it's an 8.3 litre diesel as that engine was discontinued in 2006 or 2007. It's the 6.7 litre now.

So a couple of days after it first arrived does anyone know exactly what our 'visitor' was doing making a tour of NX garages? Tony? Is it still around?

Still at BC a source has told me.
It was at Yardley Wood this morning, managed to have a look around it and I must say it is pretty smart.
The Juratek website is wrong. If you go to https://www.vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk/ you'll see YY64 GXG has a 6.7 litre engine as have almost all E400s.
