Only between Stourbridge & Kidderminster it seems, be interesting to see who takes on the rest of the route.

I would have expected that section of the 125 to have been of the most interest to Diamond.
Who on earth are Discount Travel Solutions?
Central Buses have a bit of dead mileage havent they?
Do they have any other Dudley area work?

Correct. Interesting to see they're taking on the 87. All previous competitors have failed on this route, so it will be interesting
Bit no one has ever tried sundays before

Presumably, with just an hourly frequency, only one bus will be required, although presumably crew changes will have to take place.

Central Buses did run the 007 between Halesowen and Bromsgrove for quite a while. They have no doubt factored in the dead running in their tender price.
And they had a break in the timetable for luncheon

And they had a break in the timetable for luncheon
are they allowed to do that then ?. is it a way of reducing driver changes during the day ?
The 007 had a hour break in it since Midland Rider ran it. The break was after a Oakhalls short to Bromsgrove at about 1230Sri. After lunch it did a short to Oakhalls then back to halesowen.

I always wonder about the 288, never see the driver take a break even though the service runs from 09:33 till 15:00?
There is an alternative to the rule whereby a minimum of 30 minutes break must be taken after 5.5 hours continuous driving, this being that 8.5 hours straight through can be driven with cumulative breaks totalling 45 minutes within this period.
