It isn't that rare in weekdays, but no sure about weekends
There was at least 2 on there yesterday that I saw. Sundays are more than likely down to where buses are parked the night before. An Enviro400 must have been the first accessible bus suitable for the Dudley Road rather than a Gemini. Probably the same reason why a 49** Enviro400 is on the 94 also

John pictured 4086 on the 83 in Birmingham this month.
Noting unusual about Presidents on the 83/89. Well, the remaining at least. Although, granted, from what I see, they have mostly been Gemini's recently...
Are they not allowed in the city centre? I swear they are not because those routes are in the city centre.
83 and 89 have 2 bus per hour frequency, so don't fall under the emission requirements for the SQPS.
Is there a link that leads to a document or something saying what the emission rules are?

I saw 662 in Stourbridge around 1410.I hoped it was on the 276 but it then vanished so not sure
'New bus station in Merry Hill'... Yeah ok.
I wonder how long 662 will stay at Pensnett.
662 is on the staff bus today, not the 276!

I went past it this morning at about 9:15 on the way into the Five Ways underpass - it was empty and displaying not in service, must have been about to start a journey - I assumed it was just going onto 127/8/9s. If the displays had been changed sooner I would have waited and got a photo of it on Broad Street!
Looks like I just missed seeing it on the 120 as well by about 15 minutes on the way out of town!

Everyones got great sightings of these unusual workings. Gonna make mine sound not very impressive. A trident on the 24. Haven't seen many recently. Especially since the allocation changed, I'd usually see one or two. Not many, until now... ;)

Very true Nathan, no point in rearrangine a load of buses just to get at an Enviro, just get the 1st decker available.

No problem at all. As I've said before, a working may appear unusual if you're not familiar with that route. I'm happy to politely point out otherwise. ;)
On the other hand, if you were to spot a double on the 1 (AG) on a Sunday, that would be unusual, as they're nearly always single-deck operated on that day. Presidents are the norm and usual allocation Monday to Saturday, but Geminis, Omnilinks and Eclipse 2s also appear too during the week.

I don't think he meant every bus on the 80's routes were Enviro 400, he more likely meant that there was at least one Enviro on each of the routes and I can agree with it as I saw at least 3 on the 83/89; 1 on the 80 and about 3 on the 82/87
The last working. 2320 83 from Birmingham Colmore Row was an Enviro 400
