Hi tony just wondering what's with the different colour's in nxwm fleet list are you colour coding the garage allocations?

Someone's spotted it and bothered to comment!
It is type of moquette! Any help with the ones still white will be appreciated, obviou light blue ones will get priority next year for retrims, and no-one actually has a full list of which buses have which trim!
It doesn't matter with the older stuff, no B6s, single decks below 1750 or doubles below 4125 are likely to get another retrim.

I'm guessing you're just taking into account the main moquette, as some have a combination of three. It's mostly the older buses that have three, but some newer buses are a mixture of two.

Oldest one takes priority. Any that had the light blue and have never had a full trim, just some seats replaced (like many of the 45xx geminis) get light blue coloring. Those new with the dark blue with the WM logos in it like the WB 47xx geminis get dark blue colouring, anything new with, or retrimmed with grey dot will be grey, even if garages have put odd old cushions in.
Incidently any Grey that have odd blue seats in let me know, I know who to tell to get them changed! 4777 and the PB 49xx enviro should have both been done now.

4535 has got seats with every conceivable trim on it. Not sure how you'll code that one lol! And it's Wolverhampton's private hire tacho bus too!
I'll try and help you out with YW and AG fleet as those are the fleet that i travel on the most. Below are some YW tridents that i know which trim they have got.
4335, 4369, 4386, 4388, 4392, 4394 and 4395 all have light blue trim.
4333, 4334, 4337, 4338, 4339, 4342, 4344, 4363, 4371, 4372, 4383, 4391 all have grey trim.
4340, 4343, 4345, 4375 all have dark blue trim.
Any others i'll try and find out when i see them and update.

I've noticed on the Whittle fleetlist: http://wmbusphotos.com/Whittle/fleetlist.html, that 309 (W409 JAT), is still listed on there but that returned to East Yorkshire at the end of August so it needs to be taken off the "current" fleet list and moved onto "Vehicles now left the fleet" section although as I think about it I guess it doesn't really matter for the fact Whittle's will cease to exist from the middle of December...

Hi Tony, It's taken a few weeks of spotting but here are the seat trims for Pensnett's deckers:
4135 Grey Dot
4191 TWM (although half of it appears to have been retrimmed a few years ago)
4192 TWM
4193 Grey Dot
4194 Grey Dot*
4195 Toothpaste (haven't seen this one yet to confirm it, but it can be seen on a photo)
4196 Toothpaste
4197 Grey Dot*
4198 TWM
4199 Grey Dot
4200 TWM
4201 TWM
4202 Toothpaste
4346 TWM
4347 Grey Dot
4348 Grey Dot
4349 Grey Dot
4350 Toothpaste
4351 Grey Dot*
4352 Grey Dot
4353 Grey Dot
4354 Toothpaste
4355 Toothpaste
4356 Grey Dot
*These have been refurbished after moving to PE so should be in the grey trim, but I haven't seen them in the last few weeks to confirm.
There are some odd seats that I know of on the E400s as well, although they've been there for that long it might be sad to see them go:
4803 has a Toothpaste style cushion on one of the upper deck offside seats
4819 has a Toothpaste style pull down seat in the buggy area
4820 has a TWM style seat cushion on one of the upper deck nearside seats
4829 has a TWM style seat back on one of the nearside high backed seats downstairs

They are a batch of 5 that were new on National Express work when Stagecoach operated some duties. Stagecoach then moved them up to Scotland for the X77, and they have now moved down to Rugby as megabus vehicles. I have a photo of one of them in X77 livery here http://wmbusphotos.com/Stagecoach/59303.html

Stagecoach still do quite a bit of NX work, particularly in the Kent and West Yorkshire areas.
Arriva & First no longer do any NX work. Go Ahead operates quite a quantity through its Oxford Bus Company, Wilts & Dorset and Go Northern divisions.

Hi
@Tony I like the new format.
I do have a query. There are no entries over the past 3 months for 4316, 4317, 4318 (BC-WN) or 4806 (PE-PB). Is this an oversight or is the NXWM database still showing them at their previous garage?

I will correct that. 4806 snealed over because the paint shop took it from Pensnett and it was 'lost' for a month. 4316-8 is just me missing them
Just a comment on the Arriva Midlands fleetchanges, please can you put the month and year as well as the period number?
Many thanks

I find the new format for fleet changes very useful with the last few months shown together. It is much easier to check.
The Arriva Period 7 changes are now on the Arriva changes page.

I-page, who host the main site and this forum have been having server problems which is the reason you may have had trouble accessing both today. I am doing a late night private hire today, so no photos added today, I wanted to do them this morning, but have been unable to.

In case anyone is wondering why there is more than normal blocks of ordinary NXWM photos appearing on the main site. This year I am going to try and put a photograph of every NXWM (and every Diamond if I get chance) on there to make sure there is an up to date photo of every bus. Some vehicles haven't had a photo added for up to 7 years, so one of every vehicle will cure that

Just one missing Dart 800.
Over the festive period I am having a good go at getting the main site back up to date.
Yesterday and today I have been sorting out all the West Midlands based smaller operators who don't run stage carriage work.
A list of all known vehicles is here.

If anyone knows of any vehicles missing please let me know. These operators are the hardest to keep up with as there is less interest in them

Before anyone asks about yesterday's photos I had to drop a company vehicle off to an address in Longbridge. All the photos were taken walking back to Longbridge Station and from New Street back to BC.
Another operator tidied up. I ahve gone through and made sure that the Rotala fleet list on the main site matches the company fleet list dated 1/4/20. So everything here should now be accurate

Three more fleetlists updated
Midland Classic (updated of a handwritten note from the owner on facebook so should be correct)

Select (any corrections welcome)

Thandi Coaches (Red) ltd. (again any corrections welcome)

The link for thandi says select bus
Sorted
Latest First group fleet moves up to yesterday are here
http://wmbusphotos.com/Fleetchanges/First.html
Latest operator I have updated is Thandi Executive (blue)
http://wmbusphotos.com/Thandiexec/fleetlist.html
Any additions/corrections welcome
Today's updated fleet list is the Stagecoach Midlands fleet back up to date done off an official period 11 fleetlist, so should be correct unless anyone finds any typos

Today's fleet update is Walsall Community Transport
Any corrections welcome again

That's because I haven't got a photograph of it. There's lots of others the same. On all operators it is normally just vehicles photographed
Today's updated list is all the coach and minibus operators in the West Midlands.
Generally anyone who is based in the West Midlands County with an operator's license that doesn't run bus services.
This is the one I would like help with most, but most people just ignore.
If anyone sees anything from a Ford Transit to a tri-axle decker with any of these operators, or any not listed as there are many not on there that I don't know of any vehicles, I would be grateful.

You have mail ;)
Before anyone starts, yes there will be loads of photos taken today going on the main site tonight.
They were all taken within the rules. I had to pick 5501 up from WB, so Walk to Hednesford Station, Train to Tame Bridge, number 4 to West Bromwich, walk to garage. Drive 5501 to BC, drive 5424 to WA, Walk to Walsall Train station, Train to Hednesford, Walk home.

Think UUI4923 is missing from Catteralls of Southam fleetlist.
Saw it this evening at Fox and Goose behind NX 1821.
Does anyone know what other vehicles they have?

Tony,
The front page of the main site states that the NXWM & Rotala update pages were updated yesterday, but both pages only have the November 2020 info and nothing for December 2020?
Thank you for all your hard work on the forum and main site.
Hopefully 2021 will be a better year than the one that has just finished?

Yes, Microsoft Expressions has failed uploading the last two nights, so most of the new photos don't show either. I am trying again at the moment.
Once it does work I have updated
Banga
Claribels
First Midland Red
Johnsons
Midland Classic
N E A T
Select
Silverline
Thandi Executive
as well
Tony,
Many thanks for the explanation why, I just wanted to highlight that something had gone wrong just in case you were not aware the problem.
Ian
I have managed to get the Rotala & NXWM fleet changes updated at last
Arriva December updates now fully done, along with vehicles transferring tomorrow.
I have also updated the D&G fleet list to what I know off, any other changes welcome including an identity for 59 as I presume there is one
Tony
59 is BRZ9662 according to other sources. The other ex Preston Streetlite.

All those now added to the fleetlist.
I suspect MX62 ARF and SN64 CVM are two others, both were sold by Ensign to 'Centrebus' at the same time as 62/63 and YN62 AOH
Glad to help. Just a small thing, shouldn't D&G be moved to 'Operators who run bus services in the West Midlands' on the homepage now?

Brill, another idea, how about using the currently empty leftmost column on the fleet list to show what depot each vehicle is allocated at, like on the NX one?

It one I would have difficulty updating, so could go wrong quite quickly. I have similar problems at the moment with Midland Red South as I no longer have access to their fleetcards. It has just taken me considerable time to update that one of various on-line sources
I have done the NX Bus January updates tonight (nothing is expected to happen in the next 4 days)
http://wmbusphotos.com/Fleetchanges/NXWM.html
I have also tidied the fleetlist up adding missing names and route branding, along with updating the locations of withdrawn buses, any corrections to names and branding gratefully received as it was a lot of typing
March fleet changes for the following are now on the main site
Arriva
Rotala
NXWM
I have had a new computer which is causing problems as it wants to update all 200,000 files when I try to do updates, so updates will be at a minimum for a few days.
Arriva & Rotala April fleetchanges should go on at some point tonight

Looking at the list the registrations in this batch from 2191-95 GOG191-195W. You have put 2192 as GOG193W 2193 as GOG194W and 2194 as GOG195W but the rest seem ok

History for 2565 is incorrect (looks like 2566 history was copied for 2565). 2565 ended up at WN and went to Yorkshire Traction.

The main site is currently in the process of today's update which now means I have photographs over 45,000 different vehicles on there. That's just vehicles I have photographed and excludes those on there from other people.
