Controversially, the 360 routes will no longer serve the (temporary replacement to the) main campus bus stop at the university from Monday 30th, but will serve a new stop on the still-unfinished Academic Loop road, and will operate in both directions on the northerly part of the campus loop.
The W1c will operate in the opposite direction around the campus loop.
There will be some small changes again when the mini bus station is finished this autumn.

PS I wonder if a general thread for de Courcey would be a good way forwards, for little items of news like this.
To start this thread, I just thought I would mention that there were two electric Versas on the 85 today.
It is a wonder that the timetable is such that they can stay on the 85 without drifting off to do any 585(a/b) journeys, even in the peaks, so this arrangement would seem to work well.

Warkwickshire Council confirms the 585 is to run via Sky Blue Way instead of Far Gosford Street in Coventry, I imagine the 85 will do the same.
Does anybody know why the 585 (and potentially 85) will no longer serve Far Gosford Street?
Is it purely an attempt to reduce journey time, and in doing o make their service look more attractive over a longer distance.
Is an X585 on the cards? (I asked rhetorically, I don't think this is likely).

This is quite odd because the one time I caught the 85 it did travel by Sky Blue Way instead of Far Gosford Street (one of very few differences between the 85 and 9(A) between the city centre and hospital).
The map on the Network West Midlands website also seems to suggest that it already takes this route.
I've just squeezed up Far Gosford Street through lines of legally parked cars. Nobody got on or off at either stop on that journey.

The W1 cancellation isn't really a surprise considering a competitor had introduced a four times as frequent service on virtually the same route.
Something along the lines of combining/extending the 85 along one route offering a half-hourly frequency to Warwick Uni might have been a bit more successful.
I believe the 360 contract is also due for renewal but as yet nothing may change.

I wonder if Diamond will bid for the 360 this time round?
In local passenger group meetings it has been stated the 360 has funding from University Hospital which is due to cease. This could threaten the viability of the route as a circle but I've heard nothing recently! Whether it becomes the "270" and the Outer Circle regains it position the longest circular route in the West Midlands remains to be seen.

Depends, two years ago they initially won the 360 with the intention of opening a new sub depot in Coventry, Signature wpuld have been operated from that base as opposed to Redditch as present.
Been keeping an eye out for the W58 over the last few days...
Tuesday: 6 mins late (1 passenger onboard)

It is just as well that this is being withdrawn as it appears to have low patronage and finds it difficult to keep to time...

Evening Telegraph 360 withdrawal front page news
Willenhall residents shouldn't really be complaining, seeing as they are midway along the new 60 route - which is half of the City Circle under existing frequency/service level.
I've said it before the section west of the A45 is too convoluted hence weak, everything is sort of reverting back to as it was or intended to be, In 2009 the 701 was threatened with a reduction in service levels, as per service 61, until some funding was miraculously found, but it is now eventually happening.
The only thing the Canley to Eastern Green area can hope for in the future for linking to the hospital, and this is a rough example, is a split up of the NX 4 route (after the bendibuses are withdrawn) and reroute the 4 westward such as along the 10 or the 18/18A route.
Keeping the 360 route but with the relevant Uni - Eastern Green - Arena section reduced to hourly MS daytime not considered?, I suppose regular short workings on a circular would be confusing for normal punters.

That would not be easy to do as with a circuit taking 2 hours and 15 mins, The bus changes from A to C at the Uni Hospital. That is a PVR of 9. The 43 & 61 will have a PVR of 1 each and the 60 with a PVR of 5. The round trip will be 150 mins and probably 120 on evenings and sundays.
I dislike newspapers with incorrect information and was asked by the majority of the bus what will happen to the 360 while on the 360 home as I had my Centro Badge on! The idea that you can't get to the Hospital from Willenhall is just incorrect! One man on the bus said, 'Thanks, the Telegraph lied again!' So proper information needs to be provided to these people that the changes aren't as bad as they think!
Anyone know where the maps for the new routes replacing the 360 are? Swear I saw a link to them somewhere but can't find trace of them

It is on the Coventry Telegraph article above
@Kevin http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/major-coventry-bus-route-axed-11221057
Putting it fairly crudely, the 61 is the old 701 albeit not quite as frequent and the new 60 is broadly the old 801 (with the 60 going further on to the Arena). The 'new' 43 fills the gap in-between. The old west side of Coventry to the University Hospital link (the 34) could do with being brought back - travelling via Dorchester Way naturally! [or did the 34 go that way anyway?]

The 34 did. I agree with you. Since the 34's departure, the links to the Hospital from Binley have been poorly dealt with. The 1 every hour. the 26 going to be every hour and not even going to the City Centre... It is a shame that the 34 has come back.

I suppose '34' is a bit out of sync with the current low-numbering system - how about 6B ! [to run parallel with the 6/6A but using a stretch of Tile Hill Lane not currently served]. I was a bit surprised when the 34 bit the dust in 2012, it supplemented the 13 on Binley Rd, offered links from west Coventry to the Hospital and increased the frequency along Albany Rd and Broomfield Rd. You could run a 'new 34' through Hillfields thereby allowing both the 16/16A to run via Terry Road etc (one could run via Bolingbroke Rd and Humber Rd the other via Sunbeam Way then onto Terry Rd).
Failing that, just start the iGo 26 from the City Centre rather than Stoke Aldermoor - which would require at least an extra vehicle presumably!
Today was the Travel De Courcey Local Heroes launch day.
It featured 5 of the MCV Evolutions which had there engines overhauled to be 97% cleaner than a standard MCV. It is of Euro 6 standard and was part of a £400,000 investment from De Courcey in refurbishing the 21 MCV's.
The 5 MCV's that pitched up were as follows:
542 - Heather Lawrence (Formerly known as Sir Frederick Gibberd.)
544 - Arthur Bradley
545 - Adrian Hutt
546 - (Air Ambulance)
549 - Mick McCann

I have also reattached the explanation from Centro about it all.
Was hoping the 703 would be neatly renumbered to 73, more so if the 703A variant is going to be withdrawn as that would result in most of the stop flags requiring update.

I'd go along with that, there is no logic in having routes in the 7xx series as far as I can see. Better to occupy the 1-100 range, it would fit in with most of the current within-Coventry services.

I don't go to Coventry very often so I wouldn't know. They have all probably been on the JLR contract but not sure as my Dad hasn't seen them lately. If I/my dad sees any of them again. I will post it on here. The JLR contract seems to be parked up outside International station at around 19:00 maybe after its finished/ awaiting next duty on the contract.

With TDC only running an hourly Saturday 585 service (no 85) Wed to Friday this week in Coventry the Diamond X30/31 running every 30 mins seems to have had some good loadings. I think TDC have missed some good business. One for TDC's commercial guy to consider?
As Diamond also ran TDC's 60 service on Boxing Day, are we seeing some competition hotting up between the two companies? If I were TDC should I starting to get a bit worried?

The X30/X31 is a tendered service, which will have the service levels specified in the contract; as the days you refer to are M-F they will be paid to operate a M-F service. Meanwhile DeCourcey made the commercial decision to match the level of commercial service they provided to anticipated demand.
Presumably Diamond ran the 60 as a Centro tender, as with most (if not all) Boxing Day buses in Coventry.
I would hardly call this competition.

Seen a few MCV Evolutions at the front of Cov station on contract jobs recently. Have they replaced the Merc minibuses?
Work has begun at Rowley Drive depot, cutting down border trees and removing and piling up soil on the Rowley Road end, large portion fenced off. Some 'deckers parked in Rowley Drive and others are all lined up on the lower end of the depot, looking a bit short of space in the depot on Saturday 1st April.
801 the fire victim isn't showing a change of ownership yet, so is still presumably a DeCourcey vehicle.
It was reregistered BN10 BHV last year though

Is that a 'paper exercise' and the bus is actually [or will be] written-off with the reg' plate being used on another vehicle? Or, it is being repaired, but will re-appear with a new registration at a later date?
Former London General gemini WVL9 is currently in DeCourcey's yard at Miller Street rebuilt to single door with later Gemini2 front.
It's not part of DeCourcey's fleet

New 60, 585 and 703 timetables now available here (https://www.traveldecourcey.com/service_updates/111/revised_timetables)
60 and 703 will interwork Mon-Sat daytime with an advantage of an additional bus surprisingly, so plenty of slack time at terminals, I suppose needed as service is too often delayed in certain places.

The TDC 735 is a once a day trip in one direction, leaving Coventry at 17:40, getting to Furnace End (In Warwickshire) at 18:35 and then it carries on to Coleshill (In Warwickshire) on request, it replaced the Rowes Coaches trip, the other trips are A&M operated.

541/2/3/7/8/9/58/9/60/2/4/8 are all in Orange
544/5 are in the green variation
546 is in the yellow Air Ambulance livery
550, 563/5/6/9 are all still in the old version.
Adding to the earlier report of a ex London Dennis Dart at Coventry I now can report that Six former London Stagecoach Dennis Darts have been acquired, 4 are parked at the NEC de Courcey compound, 1 is at Coventry, and the other is at Miller St.
Four are, LX03 CAE, LX53 LGO, LX53CBU, LX53 LGF, at NEC and LX03 CAA is at Coventry. The sixth, do not no number, has been refurbished and is painted white and looks very smart..
I understand the 6 Darts have been acquired to asssist the Mercedes Citario's on busy day events at the NEC.

Thanks for the info JoNi.
Will another operator be running the 60? I think Diamond did it last year.
TfWM website has list of services operating on Boxing Day highlighting services being run by operators stating route 5 as not running in Coventry and that operators not mentioned are not running services.
More ex London Dennis Tridents are seen at Rowley Rd. depot. They are LY52 XY0, LX03 UPO, LX03 BYG and LX03 ORV are in London Red.

What new depot?
The building work appears to have grinded to a halt again.
I would imagine the loss of JLR will have significant cash flow implications for them now so building a new depot is probably lower on the priority list...
When at Travel DeCourcey today I can note that all the interior concreting had been completed, the outside perimeter walls are up the correct height and bricklayers are building interior walls.
Among the ex London Tridents to be seen, as reported earlier in this coloum on January 24th, were LX03 BYG has been mechanically completed and the bus was about to leave the depot on route for repainting in I suggest Birmingham Miller St. premises. And LX03 OPU is completed overhaul/repainting, but has not entered service up to date. Two other ex London Tridents 817 and 822 look in a sorry state, (822 after RTA) and are surely withdrawn.
Straightlines above telling of de Courceys loss of the JLR contract is a enormous turn of events. Does he know who will take over this contract, and have any reasons be given?.

They are simply disposing of excess assets, none of which were employed on the JLR contract. Why would they need portacabin offices when they're building a new depot? They are selling oldest single deckers / not newest.
JLR was a large / important contract, but I think everyone's forgetting the circa 30 coaches that are employed daily on NX coach work / NEC car park shuttles (10 x Citaro's + Darts as extra's) + their bus work.

Are they still actually building the depot? Nothing much seems to have happened in the past six months or so, work completely stopped. Perhaps they have started with it again.
There isn't a whole lot of bus work, certainly not commercially operated work these days. Further cuts to 585 mean WCC are putting parts back out to tender and their Centro tenders are all up for renewal in the autumn.
Knowing that NX are building their coach unit again it must make local contractors feel a bit worried.

No idea on the current status of the re-build.
The NXWM coach unit as such is primarily for the JLR contract, there doesn't seem any great desire to take more of the NX coach work in-house, NXWM @ WA have pretty much kept to the original ex Whittle's routes they took on. I understand Edwards will be expanding further soon with a new base at Heathrow, with some work taken over from WMT Ltd (Sipson Road)
Im surprised MDC lost to Arriva and NX and Stagecoach in recent times. What happened to the innovative management style thry had when they first started? I would start looking at what could be done with the remaining services. Example, I would extend the 585's that no longer go to Rugby to the Warwickshire shopping park via Clifford Bridge Rd and Brandon Rd.
Lol maybe Rotala will be knocking on their doors soon.

I would like the 60 to go via WSP at during off peak daytimes (in lieu of Whitley JLR), this will allow the Igo 26 service to shortcut and extend potentially as far as Gulson Road.
I also wonder if the Diamond X30/31 tender is due for expiry possibly next year, the service began in summer of 2009 and was allocated funding by the now defunct Advantage West Midlands, it'll be another mop up by WMCA I suppose.

I was thinking the same thing. It would give them an eastern base and good for doing a raid on Coventry and Rugby services as well. Maybe the X30 contract renewal will decide matters?

Well, a buyer for Decourcey could simply purchase the bus side of things, leaving the Private Hire & NX side out of it? Isn't that what Rotala did when purchasing the Eccles depot?
Edit: just to add, I'm merely speculating. Haven't Rotala recently acquired funding for even more acquisitions. Given that Coventry & Tamworth are expanding markets for Rotala right now, after swallowing up Central Buses, I'd presume they'd have eyes in these areas. Given Decourceys recent bad luck with losing work, Rotala will probably be getting their chequebooks out to at least make an offer. They've just sold off Wessex too.

Could do, Goodwins retained the coach side only sold the bus op.
Yes, last July. The proposed other Manchester acquisitions hasn't happened, plus there will be the proceeds of the sale of Wessex's Avonmouth depot.

I reckon if a deal was to be made, it'd exclude the NX work, the Private Hire work and the School Services because I don't believe this sort of work is compatible with Rotala for various reasons. But the service work, yep. I reckon if they've not made an offer already, they will soon.
What's also interesting is that the Solihull contracts are set for renewal this year at some point aren't they, if the bids haven't already been put through. A Coventry depot would be ideal to house routes 82 / 88 if they're still kept. If the 87 is gained, it'd be doubly ideal.
Having said all of that, previously I would have thought Johnsons would be the only competitor for the Solihull work, but having seen the aggression of Claribels (re: 75) coupled with the excessive lost mileage in Solihull, maybe Diamond won't retain the work in Solihull. But yeah this is going off on a tangent.

I believe all of Diamond's current Signature Solihull routes are up for re-tender this Oct. Potentially adding Johnson bus business to Rotala would also be a useful acquisition, maybe more so than DeCourcey.

Why would the coach part of the business not be compatible with Rotala? Seems to me like it would merge seamlessly into Flights/Hallmark with Diamond branding on what's left of the bus services (assuming there are any post October tenders).
X6 must surely be at risk as running anonymous vehicles in dealer white doesn't suggest much commitment in the longer term future for the route.

Now that is interesting. I am told that way back in the days (decades ago) of Midland Red that for years MR used to operate a Coventry to Brinklow and the other villages but it did not pay and was then scrapped. What surprises me that MDC cant make it work on a Sunday and have walked away from it how can Stagecoach see it as profitable?

585 has been tendered since deregulation, and I suspect it was propped up with network support subsidy before that. Essentially a 1 PVR service the majority of journeys were Rugby to Brinklow and turned at Great Balance.
Originally a MRS service it was then operated by Coaching at Wheels, then MRS again, then A-Line for many years. WCC increased the frequency to an hourly through service using Rural Bus Grant funding in the late 90s. Latterly the tender has been operated by DeCourcey who registered all sorts of commercial enhancements which have gradually fallen by the wayside, including a Sunday service which was then put out to tender by WCC.
It's interesting that DeCourcey are withdrawing commercial work and losing contracts, perhaps they are re-focusing as a coach operator again.
Tempo CV07KOV is for sale at the Stafford Bus Centre, reverted to its original registration.

I had heard something similar and their work was to be taken in house by NX.
There have been problems with driver shortages, NX have had to cover their journeys using other operators, I understand the driver shortage issues have improved of late. But also NX aren't too impressed with DeCourcey also proving coaches for their competitor Snap.
Not sure whether it's true though.

Date is probably 30th August as that is when NX Coventry starts running their 'new' 14/14A service : City - Whoberley - Eastern Green - Tile Hill Station - Canley - University of Warwick, seemingly replacing DeCourcey's 60/61 between Whoberley and University of Warwick. This western arc of the 60/61 has been suspended since 22nd March.

In light of the Cheylesmore area gaining an NX link to University Hospital the 60/61 service might possibly be further trimmed to only operate : Whitley - University Hospital - Arena Park - Allesley Park/Whoberley assuming the daytime service returns to pre-covid frequencies.

I have, on my own notes (for the 60/61 Eastern Green to University of Warwick section approx) these roads covered:
from...Lower Eastern Green Lane, Alspath Lane, Unicorn Avenue, Sutton Avenue, Farcroft Avenue, Broad Lane, Jardine Crescent, Tile Hill North terminus, then; Jardine Crescent, Bushbery Avenue, Roosevelt Drive, Hawthorn Lane, Tile Hill Lane, Station Avenue, Cromwell Lane, Charter Avenue, Mitchell Avenue, Westwood Way, Gibbet Hill Road, University of Warwick.
I don't actually know if the NXC 14/14A will mirror these exactly? Obviously they'll be a slight difference if the 14 is to cover Cannon Park as well. The current 8/8A to Eastern Green serves Hockley Lane - can that be incorporated too?

I would like someone to answer it definitively so it would help me even more. Not saying that this doesn't. If anybody elsecan enlighten me please do!
I would think if the 14 mentions Cannon Hill Park Shops then it would go there, unless theres a last minute change of heart (which I don't thenk NX will have). Plus it would be helpful to people if there was another service that did go to the Shops at Cannon Hill Park as there is only one other service that does it except the 10A. this being the less regular 47.

I've been checking a few internet sources and it doesn't seem like that the new timetables have been released yet. So its guess work at the moment. There is a much quicker way to the University of Warwick from Eastern Green (going straight down Banner Lane, Station Ave, Cromwell Lane, Charter Ave etc) but will they use that much more convoluted route (a-la De Courcey 60/61) instead. We'll find out soon I guess.

Hmm, I suppose they may possibly still operate a complete orbital 60/61 route, taking a revised route between Warwick Uni and Whoberley such as along Wolfe Rd, Gravel Hill or Templar Ave to Jardine Crescent and then perhaps Eastern Green Road to Nod Rise, and being a single-deck only garage there should be no worries about bashing that rail bridge.

"Proper" circulars like the Inner and Outer circulars in Brum have overlapping passengers flows and decent headways.
With simple letter A for Anti Clockwise, C for Clockwise
Coventrys outer circle is a collection of routes thrown together to create the longest bus route in Europe at the time the 360. Big deal!
60A and 61A suffix means it doesn't serve Jaguar! This route variant will remain without the letter! Goodbye but not farewell!

Sorry Tony but I think I'm still right in saying they should keep the 60 and 61 numbers and not just renumber it to the 60. Like
@JoNi has said the Birmingham outter and inner circle routes have the same number but then have a letter suffex for Clockwise and Anti-Clockwise. I think the Coventry one is no help just a number and no suffex but when the A come into play it's a variation not because it's an anticlockwise service.

Why does the return journey need a different service number? What is so special about this route that it requires different service numbers for different directions on a non-circular route?
The 27 in Birmingham doesn't retain the 27A/27C for which direction it is going now it is no longer a circular.

Just imagine somebody uses the route for first time and when they alight they ask the driver where do I get this bus back from, only for the driver to say its a different number. The passenger then asks why is it different and you can see why front line staff can become disenchanted with "management"

Ok maybe they should just have one number and not a differnt number for the retun journey. May be not the 60 though and maby a different number.

The removal of 60A and 61A alone will require about 100 stop flags to be changed. The new style 60 and 61 flag at Jaguar snapped off in high wind a while ago as these lightweight flags have done at exposed locations elsewhere in the city.
It hadn't occurred to me until I looked at Traveline West Midlands that routes with different directional numbers requires two queries to be made and no advice on what the other route is!

Ironic isn't it that many of the stops on routes 9, 20 and 21 are old ones and new ones on routes like 3 and 23 are being replaced. Two remaining NX 8 branded buses and 3/A E200s will need to be rebranded as well! ( Appreciate this last comment relates to NX)
https://www.tfwm.org.uk/news/new-timetable-for-coventry-bus-services/
QuoteBus operator Stagecoach has taken over the contract to run the 60 and 703 routes which call at key locations around the city including University Hospital Coventry.
These routes operate with a subsidy from Transport for West Midlands (TfWM), which is part of the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA).
All buses on this route will now be numbered 60 running both directions between University of Warwick and Arena Park.
Some journeys will also extend to serve Westwood Academy in line with school start and finish times.
The 703 will operate to the same route as currently, but with a revised timetable
With the 60 going to SC I wonder if TDC will be reducing their fleet size or have they got other work lined up?

Any information about possible route takeovers?
Our first thoughts should be with the 180 members of staff who now find themselves on the growing list of unemployment.
I wish them all luck in these uncertain times.
A TfWM member of staff has a laminated poster in Pool Meadow that he's about to put up which says X6 not running will be run by Arriva from tomorrow.
Terrible news for the staff affected and for the De Courcey family.
Feels like a bit of a wake up call - possible watershed moment.

This notice is now up
Feel so sorry for the family who run this comapny and all of the employees.
What's happening to all the routes then?
I already know about the 60 being cut up into 2 services.
1. between Tesco and Uni of Warwick via Whitley. Stagecoach to operare this part of the route as service 60.
2 NX to operate the 14 and 14A to replace part of the 60/8 & 8A in Eastern Green and to Uni of Warwick.
What about the other part of the route?
X6 going to Arriva.
That's all I know.
Really sad news for what was a proactive business in Coventry. Do we know what will happen to the 585 as it looks like the remaining route without an operator?
The press release says no passengers were carried on the X6 but what it actually means is that no tickets were issued or passes validated which isn't the same thing!
I'm told NX will be running the 585, with the X6 ran from Thurmaston.

Whilst this might be 'good' news for the regular users etc. I think it would be a more sensible and natural arrangement, as well as selfishly prefer, to have Stagecoach operate the 585 and NXC operate the 60/703. I suppose TfWM wanted to get their foot in just in time with the re-tendering of the 60/703 to avoid a chance of service being abruptly stopped - that said did anyone see the 60 run on Saturday? .. as I noticed the Traveline timetable was suggesting De Courcey's last day as the 21st (Friday).

I didn't see any 585 running on Saturday so I assume the 60 wasn't running but I saw the X6 on Friday not knowing that it would sadly be the last day. I guess it would make sense that Stagecoach were to run it as they already run the Sunday service but then it does make sense a bit that NX takes over as they took over 580 which also runs into Rugby. Slightly off topic but do you think the 585 may get changed to the 85 eventually ending a long-running number?

They dont, although they could still operate the nec contract as it's on private roads and not on any public highway, or sub contract operators as they do on extremely busy days.

ah, but it was near there somewhere.
Had a ride on both Stagecoach 60 and 703 replacement services. The ticket machine didn't work on either journey but unlike similar instances with TDC intending customers were not expected to tender their fare or in my case be glared at when I wanted to validate my Swift card. I assume that Transport for West Midlands has a mystery customer programme as I presume they don't have revenue function to check tendered routes.
For this company to collapse in a large conurbation such as Coventry underlines how 'hand to mouth' bus operation has become outside of the big groups.

Yep same 4 speed Voith gearboxes as in 4565-4584. I'm sure said batch were a cancelled Stagecoach order which is why they received Voiths when NX were buying them with ZFs at the time. If anyone knows where they were intended for within Stagecoach, that would be nice to know?

I think COVID was just the final nail in the coffin for them unfortunately. The operation had been struggling to make money for some time.
The same can be said for most businesses. I mean look at flybe, you could hardly say they were the first airline to fall due to covid after they'd been struggling to keep afloat for years.
So far (with maybe only a handful of exceptions all the pandemic has done is speed up the demise of failing companies.
When Flybe were selling cheaper tickets than the cheapest Cross Country tickets for the equivalent journey, it was not if but when they would go bust.

Skills took the entire NEC fleet from DeCourcey, Darts & Citaros
There was an ORBIT single deck MCV parked up at COV station yesterday. Plated MUI 7939 (last used on a Scania?). Could this have been from TDCs fleet?

Seen again today at Coventry station on RR. Still has what looks like the MDC fleet no 562 on the back.
Confirmed as ex-MDC f/no 562.
Whilst browsing through BusView, I noticed that Mercs minibus KY63BUP is reported as passing to an Irish operator - De Courcey of Cleggan . Coincidence ? or Relative ?
The current Birmingham bus works building at miller street, there is still the De coursey gates on the building.

I do have respect. The Travel DeCourcey signs have been up for years after they went, I pass them daily, don't get why it requires a whole post as i'm sure we're all aware.

Well learn to use it then.
and does it matter it's to do with travel decoursey not everyone knows about it, I'm sure my post is news to someone on here. Was no need for your comment.
Since TDC stopped operating are there any of the fleet still on the road with other operators or have they all gone for scrap?

Yes (as of 13/11). I think the Darts are still there as well.

Does anyone know what the original registration of FIL8602 a Leyland Tiger / Plaxton Paramount operated by Travel DeCourcey in the late 1990s or early 2000s was.
I cannot find out any details about it apart from this picture of it outside Sainsbury's in Coventry City Centre (the picture is not mine): https://www.flickr.com/photos/45726467@N02/12341413103/ (https://www.flickr.com/photos/45726467@N02/12341413103/)
Many thanks
According to a BVLite Vehicle Search it was originally C406 DML, but in September 1989 it changed to C409 DML and subsequently in August 1989 to FIL 8602.
