Title: E Journeys
Post by: Russ Smith on June 07, 2014, 12:30:29 AM
Just wondering, on short journeys, what's the policy on allowing single tickets to be used? Say for example, could a person paying £2.10 for a single at Merry Hill get a Five Ways 141E then transfer without paying again onto a 9 or 126 etc. at Five Ways into the city centre? Never been on a short journey before so I don't have a clue.

Ain't it one journey one ticket?

Even if the bus is running as a short, a single ticket is only valid for that journey.

The only exception would be if a service is cut short mid-journey (eg breakdown) and all the passengers get transferred onto another bus.
