Title: Android Smartcard Readers
Post by: the trainbasher on May 14, 2014, 11:24:08 PM
Hi all

Whilst messing about with a couple of itso smartcards I own, I found a app for android where I was able to read my own smartcards (it required nfc though!)

The app was e-cebs paragon smart ticket checker.

I've managed to get a few screenshots which I'll upload shortly.

Would this ever work for revenue protection inspectors??

@Tony

Yes indeed
I wonder if the Swift PayG version will actually show a balance

The valid from is when it was issued
I've seen the inspectors with a red smart card but ain't seen many about
