Title: Tridents
Post by: nitromatt1 on May 07, 2014, 06:38:39 PM
32852 and 32854. They are listed as allocated to Worcester on Tony's fleetlist, but I don't remember seeing them out in ages, if ever. Anyone know why?

I think they spend more time over the pits at WR than anything else. I don't think WR trust them sending them out as far as B'ham.

In addition to the info. via the link above, I can confirm that 32854 is still in service (on schools this afternoon).

32854 has been to Brum a number of times, usually on 144A though/schools/Rugby and is in regular service. A nice bus to drive for its age.
32852 has been in the garage for ages out of service, apparently has had a new engine but was still over the pits when I last saw it. That has also been to Brum in the distant past!

See previous post > That is why 32645 is on loan from Leicester covering for it.

I did see 32854 on a Brum 144 working,[last week ? ?]. It pulled out of the bus station at Bromsgrove ,sounding well and with hardly a hint of smoke from the exhaust. But I did note that a few of the lower body panels were in need of attention - note sure if just a coat of paint would be enough though. :D
