Not sure how many different types I have ridden on the 301, but almost every type ever allocated to Walsall in the last 13 years along with most different types operated by Diamond!

Do different operators on a route count?

If so, on the 63, I have ridden

Short dart/carlyle TE
Long dart/carlyle TE
Dart/pointer DIAMOND
Spectra NXWM
B7tl/president NXWM
B7tl/alx400 NXWM
trident/alx 400 NXWM
transbus trident/alx 400 NXWM
Merc NXWM
B6 NXWM
B6/dash Thandi
Dart/east lancs
Metrorider
Dodge Minibus
Scania/alexander TWM
Metrobus TWM

Probably others I have forgotten as well. Perhaps someone like Tony or Liverpool Street could clarify this, but didn't BC use minibuses on the 63 at one time when there was some sort of fuel strike/crisis in about 2000/2001, such as the solos? Or maybe I am remembering wrong...

As I've a mind complaint my history is hazy, but them some is crystal clear, I don't remember a full allocation but Solos and B6's were often used on those routes in that time.. don't know why, maybe the sheds were falling foul

If I'm allowed to count the 3 and 12 as the same route, my best NXWM Only list stands at:
Leyland Lynx, Volvo B10B, Volvo B10L Liberator, Volvo B10L Alexander Ultra, Volvo B6LE, MCW Metrobus MKII, MCW Metrobus MKIIA, Dennis Trident(Y reg, BV52 and 4426), Enviro 400, Scania Omnilink (Both main batches), Plaxton President.

My best list including other operators is easily the 50/X50/50A(I'm only including rides on the Birmingham-Maypole section to make it fair):
Optare Spectra, MCW Metrobus MKII, MCW Metrobus MKIIA, Scania Omnilink, Dennis Trident (Alx400), Enviro 400, Dennis Dart (Pointer, Crusader and ALX200), Plaxton President (Trident), Enviro 200, Plaxton Centro, Optare Solo, Dennis Lance (Verde), Volvo Olympian (Palatine II), Optare Tempo, Volvo B7TL ALX400, Wright Gemini (B7TL), MCV Evolution, Volvo B7RLE(Euro 4 and Euro 5, Plaxton and Wright), Optare Solo SR, Optare Versa, Optare Versa Hybrid, if I think of anymore I'll edit this and add them in! (I can add that I have also seen an Enviro 400H, Scania Omnicity, B7TL President, Nimbus Dart, Plaxton Primo and an Alexander R Type Olympian on there but sadly did not ride any of those)

Best I can think of is the 51/951 etc...
Deckers - Trident, President, Gemini, E400, Metrobus (both types I think, was too young to care back then)
Singles - Eclipse, Omnilink, B10s (including the Ultras I think), Lynx, B6

When Diamond ran the route I can only remember Lances
I remember Zaks running a 51A and can only really imagine darts, again too young back then to pay attention.

I suppose, thinking about it, the 16 has seen every bus type from Perry Barr and Diamonds garages, including an ex First E300
