Interesting to see if it makes it tomorrow as the schedule for trial run/driver training is in Realtime trains.

Oh right, thanks Tony, hadn't noticed that one.
Maybe there going to add it to a freight at Washwood Heath to take it to Wellingborough.
Tony do you know if 1015 has actually worked yet?

No it hasn't, still doing static training at Washwood Heath while some paperwork is sorted out. Most likely working for it if all goes to plan is Monday Wellingborough to Scunthorpe (4E10) and Tuesday return (4M10)
Any news on D1015 Tony, has it got to Wellingborough yet?

I bet that is the first time ever a Deltic, a Western and two class 40s have been through Water Orton on the same day!
since they started allowing Preserved Diesel locos on the mainline, you cant say that life has been boring! :)
It is not a Stone working as originaly thought it would be, but it is now at work for GBRF doing long welded rail trains, here is someones photo of yesterdays run

A slightly different use for D1015

It only did the lwr train once or twice and then took the planned stone working, but after failing twice is reported to have been banned from working those too.
