Title: Central Logistics and Redwings N&P result

Central Logistics and Redwings Contracts (the little green Iveco things)have been at a PI recently and this was the result

- that under section 155 of the Transport Act 2000, a penalty of £550 per vehicle is imposed on you, giving a total of £1,650 payable to the 'Secretary of State' within 28 days;

- that adverse findings are made out under Sections 17(3)(aa) and (c) of the Act;

- that adverse findings are made out under Sections 26(1)(a) and (b) of the 1985 Transport Act;

- that the operator's repute is severely tarnished but otherwise remains intact;

- that the operator no longer satisfies the requirement of financial standing under Section 17(1)(a) and 14ZA(2)(c) of the 1981 Act;

- that the operator's licence is revoked with effect from 1 November 2013.

Oh well, they had a good run on the 88/89 while they lasted. Will be interesting to see the 89 without competition for the first time since it was introduced. I think they had a brief period on the 17
