Is spending a couple of thousand pounds on 10 Irish registration plates for 10 seven year old buses really going to
a) increase the number of passengers travelling
b) make the service any better for existing passengers?

But operators have always done this sort of thing? Perhaps the refurb budget for the vehicles had a surplus? As I'm sure you know, the vehicle maintenance and resource budgets are quite seperate to marketing and business development?
What a ridiculous waste of money. Why not keep the buses in such a state that people dont care about the age and not have buses in a bad state but with plates disguising the age-people aren't stupid they can see straight past that!
Vehicle maintenance & resource budgets must be nonexistent at Cannock then
Does anyone know roughly how much these cost?

Speedy registrations are advertising similar registrations in this weeks CBW for £99 each, but then you have the £80 transfer fee to pay the DVLA on top
