Found one of these and wondered what the purpose of this was for?

It's a form of VCR, Vehicle Condition Report. The document is fairly self explanatory and a good example of one. Before a bus leaves depot it should be checked for defects and recorded on this document which form part of the vehicles service record. Major defects recorded ie escaping air should be recorded and engineers should clear the fault or VOR (dead) vehicle of road until the defect is repaired.
Interesting that you 'found' a document like that lying around! Lets all hope it isn't one that was supposed to be filled in!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D
