Title: Train breakdowns
Post by: settlerman on November 08, 2012, 03:35:43 PM
If a train were to breakdown on the cross city line at e.g. Selly Oak where would it be recovered to. I'm not too interested in trains (sorry) but buses yes. Just curious what would be the procedure in the event of a breakdown.

It would normally be assisted by another train of the same class (323 in the case of a cross city) and taken to the depot at Soho about two miles out of New Street towards Wolverhampton
