Quote from: MasterPlan on May 08, 2024, 06:32:18 PMI wish they'd realise there's no R in Castle.

But anyway, it made me think, with this promise regarding NSAs will that include short workings?

What promise? 👀

Major disruption to Birmingham services due to a bike ride
All Hagley road services going in via Bristol road then tunnels to get Charles st to snow hill
Out via old square then Lancaster Gate then tunnels to Bristol road
So good chance for some photo of buses off route or a ride through the tunnels

I always wondered if deckers could fit in the tunnels...

Quote from: BlackCountryBusSpotter on April 28, 2024, 10:53:22 AMCan I buy an Adult Daysaver with Card or would I still tap on every bus and show the ticket as I will be getting NX buses only as I'm sure with waiting times of the Train Vs the bus it would take the same amount of time from Walsall to Lichfield and the bus is cheaper

Just buy it on card. Once you've got the paper daysaver ticket, it's exactly like you've paid it in cash, so you would just show the paper ticket to the driver.

QuoteNot all 'missing journies' are breakdowns. YW had two vandalism broken windows yesterday

It can happen on any route, but I've experienced (and posted!) about this on the 76, so yes these are alos other factors.

There's also RTCs (like BC 6852 today, but that would bring this thread off topic).

4590 seemed to have overheated in California earlier today.

Quote from: Stu on April 20, 2024, 04:14:15 PMI guess someone at NX is going to be busy getting all the stop announcements recorded for every route!

Maybe a new voice or (unlikely, but still hopeful for) the return of Mr. Platinum?

Quote from: Wba_lad on April 12, 2024, 10:39:45 AMI was wondering if a name badge could be made for a family member, #makingmacsmark, he passed away with a rare and unknown brain tumor. I was wondering if any name badge could be arranged I know it's not as simple as putting it on.

Contact the company via the offical channels for any realistic chance.

Quote from: 2206 on April 11, 2024, 06:57:41 PMIt tracked up to Five Ways as the 14:53 14 to Chelmsley Wood.

Ah yes it did, but looking at the tracking, it seems like it failed to use the school turning circle, giving the impression that it didn't turn up.

4941 - 65 minutes late on the X22. At least it still ran.

Seems like the 822 was missing today? I usually see it go past but no sight of it today (or on bustimes).

6871 broke down on Romsley Road.

Very small change that doesn't seem to have been advertised on the website:

Outbound 23 now stops at Kempsey House. Good for connecting with the X22.

Looks like it's been timed with the city centre changes and I can only assume stop announcements would have been updated to reflect this fact (haven't had a chance to go on one yet).

Quote from: Stu on April 04, 2024, 07:16:18 PMHas the issue with the 'new' NSA displays been resolved now?

Travelled home on 6917 on the 3 just now and the displays were staying on. Announcing and displaying the correct new stop names, so not old programming.

It's resolved but some buses at BC haven't had this fix applied.
