Due to a ticketer issue operators using ticketer machines are unable to show rti or live tracking information

There is an AQPS in place in Birmingham that should limit how long buses are permitted to stay on a bus stop within the AQPS area, however in practice there are a couple of operators who ignore this & face NO penalty as a result. Myself & Simon from Diamond have been most vocal about this in the past.

With a nationwide shortage of bus drivers whats everyone's experience with this. I just returned from lincolnshire where a normally very frequent service between multiple routes & operators around Ingoldmells turned into just 1 bus in an hour

Thought it could be useful to have a thread where people can report when they have seen a bus at social distancing capacity displaying a Bus Full sign, so as to better inform other group members to adjust their travel habits to avoid potentially busy times/routes

Been looking at you tube & spotted a London bus driver who has his own blog. Very light hearted & worth a quick glance to brighten your day just search for doubledeckeranton.

Enjoy

Just thought it might be nice for people to comment to show all of our appreciation for all the hard work that goes into this site.

Following on from the discussion in the heartlands thread,  what is everyone's view on the national concessionary scheme. Is it a good thing, a bad thing, should it be discontinued & if so replaced with what?
I personally would like to see the pass discontinued & replaced with the national transport token scheme of old where pensioners & disabled were given a set amount of tokens each month to spend on transport as & when needed. The reimbursement for operators was much better & there was far less abuse of the scheme as the amount of travel was finite people would travel for essential purposes & save up for more improptu days out. Not as now hop on  & off in one stop "because it's free".

The Archive / Voltron destinations
January 09, 2014, 06:32:18 PM
A friend of mine has acquired some led destinations from a company called Voltron however he doesn't have the software to programme them. Does anyone know where I can get hold of the software for them?
