2986 YJ09 LBL has returned to service with what appears to be a replacement engine, been eased back into use on the Oswestry Town Services today.

Scanias 3510 YN08 HZX, 3511, YN08 HZY & 3512 YN08 HZZ are now parked at Oswestry and appear to have replaced 3730 YJ57 BRF, 3731 YJ57 BRV and 3743 YJ59 BVB today.

3727 YJ57 BUA, 3729 YJ57 BPZ and 3742 YJ59 BVA linger on for now.

Repaint cover Cadet, 2704 BU02 URY ventured back to its home town today on route 70 Oswestry to Shrewsbury.

A second Cadet has arrived at Oswestry, understood to be 2744 with a Pulsar 2 going to MRC for repaint.

4803 Y485 UGC has arrived at Oswestry today from Telford and appears to have covered some 53 Ellesmere trips towards the end of the day. This joins 4806 X502 GGO here and finds two deckers on fleet strength at Oswestry, the later usually spent the best part of the day on the 70/70A Oswestry to Shrewsbury.

3790 FL63 DXY is back in use today on the 70 to Shrewsbury, nice run back o. The 17.17 ex SY👍

Looks excellent in the revised livery with USB ports added, shame no opportunity to add WiFi to these.

A update on Oswestry, Pulsar 2's 3756/85/7/8/9/90 are all back in use in the new livery, retaining the black on the headlights surrounds and they look so much better for it. They are also fitted with USB charging points, already proving popular in the 2/2A/2C services. 3786/91 are the last ones away at MRC been completed with 3791 departing by at least last Saturday after putting the final day in use in the older livery on the 70/70A service the day prior.

Repaint cover Cadet, 2704 departed 21/02 to Telford for repaints there as 3788 was returned, Cadet 2744 is still covering.

4803 still remains here from Telford and as I understand only a loan at this stage with 2945 away with issues been reviewed for at least a month now. I understand 4803 is expected to transfer in May due to a new school contract gain that requires a decker as part of the tender, it remains to be seen if returns to Telford between or if anything else ends up coming. 4803 has proved very useful with heavy loading for the Lakelands School in Ellesmere so has been put to good use.

Repaint cover Cadet 2744 LF02 PLV looks to have finished at Oswestry and even likely its Arriva career, noted that front hanover display has been removed. Checking on DVLA online, it shows MoT is due 15th March 2019 in any case.

I know it's a regular working for this bus but I've just seen 3787 in Wrexham. It was on the 2a.

2985 YJ09 LBK as long anticipated finally was reallocated to Oswestry from Shrewsbury for the start of May (successor to the departed 2546 YN53 SVT). Also of note is 4803 Y485 UGC was previous considered a loan from Telford is dedicated here now for use on the 71 Four Crosses - Marches School Oswestry and PM return, also works a teatime single run on a 79A to Oswestry to Blodwel Bank from the same time, the later links as a college run. These are Shropshire Council tenders gained from Tanat Valley.

Reported changes at Oswestry are 2943/4 to Shrewsbury due to additional Park & Ride requirements and 3761/2 in from Cannock as replacements.

Has it been transferred perhaps?  Must have been short of streetlites on the 4 today as I saw an E200 on there as well.

Had it confirmed elsewhere on loan for a few weeks following the demise of 2768.
