Nice to see the most recent photo uploads of Mk 1 Metrobuses in Coventry in the 1980's. Looks like all over advertising was in vogue at the time
also decently informative (non digital of course) destination displays with not a "via Coventry" in sight

What you have to remember is photographs pre 2004 were all on film, not digital and were not cheap, so you didn't get the repeat shots in case it didn't turn out right then, and unusual things were photographed more than the ordinary. This means that when I have asked for photos to use I am much more likely to get advert photos than ordinary ones of any bus that did caryy an advert

Thanks for updated list,
An item on tonights National news states only 5 passengers are going to be allowed on single deckers. I travelled on two E200s today both carrying 8 passengers none wearing face masks who travelled without any quarms so in reality there shouldn't be a need for any more doubles.

That is not what the news article said.

What it said was that "if" buses were to maintain 2m social distancing they would only fit 5 passengers on a single deck. The article also has a serious discrepancy as it said 15 on a double deck so not sure how you only fit 5 on the lower saloon but 10 on the upper saloon

Well definitely not 10 but depending on the bus, I'm sure there's a few extra seats where the driver's can would have been..

Should be fun.

Thing is, what is the position on jobseekers and bus travel?

If Job seeking isn't work

Job seekers have been told they don't need to sign on at the moment, and what travel would you need to do to seek work at the moment. You wouldn't be invitied to an interview

And there's a notice on the door saying  stuff is taking place on the phone I think, or something like that.

Nobody has said you can't travel by bus, otherwise I could have been prevented from topping up my Swift card
I've seen OAPs on buses going shopping who presumably live on their own and have to buy food to survive.
My local station has a sign by the entrance stating you can only catch a train if you are a key worker.
The key message is don't leave home if you are ill (isolate in government speak)

The fascinating part will be how different Operators regain their market share. Uber has made a noticeable reappearance!

I think the message is its fine to use public transport if you have to, anyone going shopping will be making an essential journey so that's perfectly fine.
On the other hand you have about approximately 50/60 men in their 30/40's gathered closely together playing football in the field at St Margarets Road, by the Bromford Lane junction this evening at 18:00 - that is more of an issue I believe, than people going to get their shopping.

Is there no way a SWIFT card can be topped up online though? If not something that should be looked at I think. As surely would also have saved you an unnecessary journey.

Yes a swift card can be topped online but can only be collected at certain bus stops or android devices.

The thing is though if the person wanted to top it up at a payzone (I believe not all corner shops have those machines) in cash then they can do so (it isn't an unnecessary journey either as the person may have had to get some shopping too from the payzone retailer).

All opinions and onions mentioned on here are mine and not those of any employer, current, past, present or future, or presented as fact, unless I prove it otherwise.

After loading product onto Swiftcard from machine this morning (and completing survey again) a chap standing 2 metres behind me asked how much it was for trains as well. After finding menu for bus and train...and tram although he wasn't sure what that was, he looked completely blank when it asked what zone he wished to travel in. Seamless travel hasnt arrived yet as there is no zone map on the machine. Looks like the Travel Centre can be justified for a while yet or more to the point the people in it!
