Don't know if this one has been reported but 6891 appears to have been stuck tracking as the 05:51 X21 recently.

Today it looks like it actually did and X12 journey? Though not too familiar with that route.

Okay maybe the wrong word but you know what I meant. Regulations or whatever.

I wish they'd realise there's no R in Castle.

But anyway, it made me think, with this promise regarding NSAs will that include short workings?

There appears to be little point of the 16:50 X21 from City being on the timetable. From my experience it's very hit and miss as to whether it actually shows up.
From what I've seen on tracking it only does two trips. 15:43 X22 into City and then the 16:50 X21 outbound. But as I say its quite regularly missing.

6883 appears to be broken down on Kemberton Road.

Quote from: MasterPlan on April 24, 2024, 09:35:39 PMGreat. MS10 is worse than MS8A.

Two questions. Will the X21/X22 still atop at NS1 along with the 23/24/82/87, and where will they turn around after stopping at MS10? Up round Old Square and back? Is there really any difference between that and what it's doing now.

Is the reason the X21/X22 moving stops because of too many buses at MS8A with the 61/63? Because I'm pretty sure the 16/16A/82/87 that used to stop there accounts for more buses.

Updated bus stops in Birmingham City Centre | NX Bus West Midlands

X21/X22 will stop at MS10 and then directly opposite at MS12 on the other side of the road.

Great. MS10 is worse than MS8A.

Quote from: Stu on April 20, 2024, 07:45:56 PMI have boarded buses before where the destination display is set incorrect, but the on-board announcements play/display correctly, so I'm not sure how it works or whether there are separate systems.

No I think Steve is right. The NSA appear to be directly linked to the destination display. Once it's changed so do the NSA. For instance sometimes a driver may change the display a few stops before the terminus, especially in the City Centre and then it'll instantly change the NSA.
So when it isn't changed for the return journey they never work in my experience.

Quote from: mesub on April 11, 2024, 04:34:06 PM4941 - 65 minutes late on the X22. At least it still ran.

Seems like the 822 was missing today? I usually see it go past but no sight of it today (or on bustimes).

Yep, temporary traffic lights on Edgbaston Park Road once again causing X21/X22 to lose time.

Quote from: GoldenSquid on April 09, 2024, 11:27:38 AMI wonder if the X21/X22 could become a permeant change as it will now be more a University service connecting two of them up in the City.

I mean technically X21 also serves Newman Uni as well. But I hope not personally.

Quote from: Steve3229vp on April 08, 2024, 02:38:20 PMI hope not, the time it took the 33, 51, 907, 934-7, 997 and X51 to get around Carrs Lane, The Square Peg and The Law Courts to Lancaster Circus was ridiculous in peaks, so thanks, but no thanks
I suppose these changes will benefit some and hinder others.
I mean I'm not sure why the X21/X22 has to terminate in no man's land. I am surprised it didn't go up to Square Peg with 23/24/45/47/97 and do the same loop round that the 45/47/97 is doing.

Can anybody confirm that the City Centre stops will go back to how they were when the Metro work on Moor St is completed?

I certainly hope so anyway.

Just been on 6885 and it seems like the NSA has already been updated to reflect the bus stop changes in City Centre as it says Albert Street and not Priory Queensway.

That's the quickest I've ever seen it done!
