Does anyone know the nature of withdrawal of these 2 B6's? I wouldn't think they are scheduled withdrawal just yet? If it was major unit failure I would have thought they are still within financial scope for replacement. Have they been in accidents?

I think 2625 is burnt out currently in cannocks yard, also I think 2642 is on the pits at Cannock with no engine in

Thanks for that. I don't recall a B6 from this batch ever suffering a burn out, which is surprising seeing as similar aged Volvo deckers seemed to be so vulnerable to them. Any sign that either will be repaired?

I think 2625 is for scrap as they have been removing parts and panels by the looks of it dont think it could be repaired anyway.  Not sure about 2642

Thanks :-) Shame, these have been good buses all considered, not outstanding or amazing to drive but good, solid workhorses that never really showed their age. I hope they don't start dying.

I hate them - the ones in Telford are shuddering and are absolutely uncomfortable to ride on - I hope they get sent soon!
This is a personal appeal... For Pete's Sake just save the #!@?$&% Scania's - don't let them follow the Dennis Falcons!

Whoa! 2638!

Sorry for the excitement, but what happened to 2638?

What - 2638 had the engine out of a Dennis Dart - if I'm not mistaken?

Was that the B6 that caught fire in Tamworth about 3 years ago?

If it way, that happened about 5 minutes from my house, but I was at the cinema at the time watching bloody Twilight  :o

No 2122 was, I think, the only Alexander Dash bodied B6 Arriva Midlands Ran, I haven't got quite that high with my former vehicles, but this flikr page tells you the history and also about the engine being reused

Ahh - I see. Thought it would've been strange for a Dennis Dart engine to be placed into a B6BLE. By the way, you're going back to the former vehicles of Arriva Midlands?

Yes, about a hundred former Arriva Midlands vehicles still to put on the main site. I have photos of almost all run since 2005

Just one thing I've noticed, even though you haven't got pictures of the rest of the batch N-VPH Darts, you've missed out 2359 - N238VPH in the listing. If you want - I can give you some help with the fleetlist via e-mail.
