Quote from: Mayfield on April 14, 2023, 06:07:40 PMWhen did Woods move into the old Arriva depot in Wigston and how many vehicles are based there, seems a large building for Woods vehicles.
Woods Coaches moved in to Wigston depot a few months back following refurbishment, they have authorisation for 41 vehicles.

This week @winston
Park Lane will consist of 10 private hire vehicles and 4 network vehicles, under the Woods licence. Watch out for some exciting transfers!

@BN - Did the transfer of WMT Ltd coaches to the new Woods Coaches license take place last week as expected?

Any chance you could provide a fleet update of what's now at Aston & Wolverhampton depots?

BN

91-95 have now arrived back from Ambassador, for use between Aston & Leicester depots.

Thanks BN,

Will the former WMT Ltd coach fleet retain their NXWM fleetnumbers? Or will they receive NETS fleetnumbers?

Good question @winston I'm not sure. Be a good idea too, plus it's all under the same management now so possibly?

I'm assuming the ex WMT Ltd vehicles (Woods, Aston) are still on the WMT system, whilst the Woods Leicester vehicles are on the NETS system.

To be honest, the NETS fleet numbering is a big mess, even the latest version with large batches split. There are so many vehicles still carrying old or multiple fleet numbers. Plus there's a mis mash of liveries & brands working from various subsidiaries at present.

The NX Coaches Ltd Network Fleet at Luton, Start Hill, Victoria & Wandsworth is all still in the WMT numbering scheme too.

Next batch of 9 now on.

I have a couple of the 23 plates, just waiting for full vehicle details before putting those on

@Tony - Fyi, that update still isn't showing on the NETS fleetlist on your main site

In addition, Woods have received 3 further Scania / Levante 3's based at Leicester:

BV23ZVN
BV23ZVO
BV23ZVZ

BLOTW is quoting their fleet numbers as 366-368, but being Leicester based vehicles, they should have NETS fleetnumbers as per recent batches.

I still have some work to do on it, but the NETS fleetlist is now a lot closer to be correct again
