X21 - Extended to Woodgate (X22 terminus) X22 - route unchanged
Both every 20 minutes each as they are now (now every 10 minutes City-University) the AM peaks are up to every 15 minutes each

X21 - timetable
X22 - timetable

Interesting choice of route for the X21, up Field Lane to the main Bartley Green stops then down Romsley Road / Adams Hill to the Woodgate terminus. means city bound X21 & X22 stop on opposite sides of Romsley Road to each other

67 extended via Farnborough Road to Farnborough School replacing 38
...

I interpreted it being the 67 just doing a one way loop round the whole Castle Vale estate, but I was wrong. Seems a strange choice to loop all the way round, terminate at the school then loop all the way back

Looking quite likely the 20 and extended 27 will interwork in Cofton Hackett from the timetables

And your evidence?

For the record, not that I'm in any way suggesting the 11 to the Fort is either a good idea or being planned...
I know quite a few people that do use the 11to get to the Fort from Erdington / Stockland Green / Perry Barr, its handier and on a frequent service than changing / waiting in Erdington for a half hourly bus, and realistically isn't that much slower walking from the 11 stop on the island

Anyway. Once again wild speculation is taking over a thread about *actual* service changes, but that's what's going to happen when the official announcements come a considerable amount of time after the changes are registered

So it's only for us bus veg to find out about then?

Any timetables for the X92/94 yet?

Or indeed any publicity? I mean Kudos for doing such a route in summer holidays but I've only heard about it through the veg-vine

Improvements to some Kidderminster and Redditch garage services from 29th August:

https://www.diamondbuses.com/news/worcestershire-service-changes-august-21/?fbclid=IwAR24V4T3lmb4knzEUpajtKu1SDZn6QtntDRoYijfLFy9auG61-JkFdyBNqE

I was curious why the route to Kidderminster was mentioned as "increased", thought it was hourly. Turned out I was wrong.
Is the current service still a reduced thing for plague purposes or has it been 2 hourly for a while?

So the 36 is very close to being a circular route.
I don't know if I'm over thinking this, but is the NEW 41 going to serve Formans Road, Stratford Road, Showell Green Lane and Yardley Wood Road to Wake Green Road, then replacing the rest of the 1A ?  The reason why I say this is because I'm wondering if the proposal for the Stratford Road services which was muted last year is going to happen ? If so I think remember the part of the revision for the 5 was to run on Stratford Road to Cole Bank Road, with the NEW 41 serving Showell Green Lane to enable this to happen

Tbh a short extension then to the 36 from Small Heath back up to Heartlands could enable an end to the ludicrous 45 minute frequency and maybe even take over that stretch of the 28A route. But that's just unnecessary armchair route panning etc on my part etc...

Although on the frequency point, if the new 41 was to work with the 36 on the common section would that indicate another service with a 45 minute frequency?

Where do most of its passengers travel to?

Walsall to Barr Beacon is covered by the 934.

On evenings and Sundays, there's the 937a for Blackwood,  but I've seen nothing for the 937 to change to account for it at other times!

Unfortunately that's the thing, the introduction of the 934/935 etc made the rest of the old 377 have to make do with a much reduced service, to the point that now there's probably not much point keeping the 77 in it's current form. I can foresee the 77 getting withdrawn at some point with the 9xx routes recast to keep a reasonable frequency on the Streetly - Walsall section and the Sutton end of the 77 incorporated into the 78 (to form a circle around Sutton Park, tbf the current terminating at the Queslett Road isn't an ideal spot))

Look at the back offside and you will see the vent for releasing any Hydrogen in them.

Hold up. Vent? As in this scenario would mean all the fuel (yeah it's Hydrogen not petrol etc) just gets released into the air? Is that not ridiculously wasteful?

On Saturday, I was happily trundling along the B4030 just outside of Bicester, when I was confronted with a Diamond service 250 to Bicester. What depot does that one run out of? Was very surprised to see a Diamond that far south.

Rotala won the tender for the 250, started operating as Hallmark like the Surrey routes but they were all renamed to fit the Diamond brand recently. They use a base in Bicester I think shared with Grayline coaches?

It seems that the Stagecoach buses with the "free WiFi" signs on haven't been giving out free WiFi since last year.

Almost seems like a story to bash bus companies for the sake of it.
When Stagecoach Oxfordshire did that I'm sure they announced it as a cost cutting measure. In all honesty I haven't tried to use it since then. Think bus companies are realising that most people don't need WiFi on their journeys anymore, phone signal is pretty good most places and most phone contracts come with tonnes of data

Wonder how long before the vegetation starts moaning about wires ruining the look of Shrewsbury?

In all seriousness though, it does seem a bit of an isolated route to electricity. Only the locals to Brum and the odd West Coast service which can easily be in the hands of a bi-mode. Plus there will still be diesel TfW services running and I can't envisage them getting bi-modes for the Cambrian lines. Progress is progress though

Interesting that they're running a Stafford service through from Walsall. Would have thought if anyone would attempt that it would be as a more direct route (merge with the 1) not round Cheslyn Hay, but good luck

Not to Town, no.

Service 68A will follow the current Route into Aston Lane to the Junction of Wellhead Lane then will follow the Below Route:
Stoneleigh Road, The Broadway, Witton Road - then Service will follow its current Line of Route until Villa Park, Witton Square, The Broadway, Stoneleigh Rd, Aston Lane. Then follow to Perry Barr Interchange

https://www.diamondbuses.com/west-midlands/bus-services/68a/

Ah, yeah I'd imagined something that could work with 2 buses, to make a bigger loop of Aston or something into town, forgot that a 45 min frequency could be an option because it's just such an annoying frequency to understand
