There are 77 disruptions across all of the West Mids this morning!

The second one down from the top is for the current shambles of 'Stagecoach in Birmingham' and the header only shows it affects the 169 service(?). Open it up and then get the full story. Very confusing - is this deliberate or what?

"Due to driver availabity, some of the new Stagecoach services may be subject to short notice cancellations.

These are mostly affecting the A9, 41, 46, 169 routes in Birmingham and Solihull and the 7 and 51 in Coventry

Stagecoach will be updating their social media channels regularly with the latest service updates. Please refer to their Twitter feed for the very latest information.

It's not mean a month and as the original poster said complete shambles.

They state due to unforseen circumstances on their twitter why not explain the issue so passengers maybe more understanding.   If it's driver shortages this surely cannot be acceptable excuse as you should have things in place such as a pool of drivers who can be called up to drive a bus.

I know NX have said they are using inspectors, office staff who can drive buses to limit the cancellations to services.

TfWM Bus travel site showing 73 disruption across the WM this am

Not all of them are current disruptions, despite you clicking the "now" tab on the left.

For example, it says that there are some roads closed around the NIA to allow people to exit the "Strictly Come Dancing" event. That event isn't on until next Sunday.

The quality of the information on there is quite poor, to be honest.

And they generally only mention NX services, not other operators who are also impacted.

I really couldn't give half a giraffe when it starts. I am looking at the TfWM website and this is what it is saying is a current disruption, as of Monday 16 January at 14:16:

Quote from: TfWM's fabulous websiteWhats Happening?
St Vincent Street/Cambridge Street will be closed to allow traffic to leave after the Strictly Come Dancing evening performance at the Utillita Arena.

Roads may open and service returns to normal route earlier depending on level of traffic around the arena.

When: Sunday 22nd January
21:00 - 22:30 (approx)

Services affected & diversion route

NXWM 126
Diverted via Paradise Circus, Broad Street then normal line of route

There's no mention of Friday or Saturday there, just Sunday.

Just looked at the TfWM website. As accurate as ever it mentions NX 11 will divert....via Alfred Squire Road, Bentley Bridge Way and Waddensbrook Lane. All of which are in Wednesfield!  (No mention of Let's Go 11 and Chaserider 70 which are also diverted). It also states the work will end on 25th May but the council notice in the Express and Star gives an end date of 14th JUNE.

It's mentioned lower down the list but why it couldn't be all together in one place?

And I thought the Wolves 69 diversion through Bloxwich last Thursday was a hell of a diversion!
