I noticed yesterday that quite a few of Coventry's buses are externally dirty.
844,4454,6017 etc

Is there just a general lack of cleaning or is this purely down to the winter weather? I know a lot of the fleet is stored outside an I wondered if this had anything to do with it.

Anybody else noticed this? Its really a shame given how smart they can otherwise look.

Just the time of the year - salt, dirt and general muck on the roads gets swept up onto the sides of buses. I think NXC buses these days look a lot better than say Metrobuses and Fleetlines of the early and mid 90s, bet it in winter or summer. 156 vehicles based at CV currently - I guess about 30 or so are outside, so most get overnight coverage.
