Ominicitys are Double deckers

No they aren't!

http://wmbusphotos.com/Midland/YN04GMV.html

Can you not see the OmniCity badge next to the fleet number.

The difference between an Omnilink and Omnicity is the way the engine is laid out. Think of the Perry Barr OmniCitys. The downstairs rear seats.

OmniCitys have the engine sideways, whilst in OmniLinks, you sit on top of the engine.

They look like ominilinks not Ominicitys ::)

What does an Omnicity look like then?

I appreciate you are 16 and enthusiastic about buses and that is nice to see, the sad thing with trains is most of the enthusiasts seem to be my age and older, but you do need to think about what you post sometimes

winston

Yes they are!

The Omnicity comes as both a single decker & double decker

Yeah I know they come in both double deck and single deck. Nathan said that OmniCity's are double deckers, and I was pointing out that they are single deckers as well, and went on to say the OmniCity is named due to the layout of the chassis.

winston

You actually said "no they aren't" to Nathan's comment about Omnicity's being double deckers

Omnicity's are available in both single decker & double decker formats

If you look at my original post, I also refer to the PB OmniCity's. I know full well that OmniCity's come in both forms. He said OmniCitys are double deckers, which I interpret as All OmniCitys are double deckers. It's like saying ALX400s are Dennis Tridents. No they are not, they are Volvo B7TL's as well, which is the point I was trying to get at in my original message.

winston

We'll he'd be correct then, they are double deckers as well as single deckers.

You're just always the first to jump down this throat and either correct him or try making him look stupid!

On the subject of the Omnicity's after that debate, does anyone know why a few of them had their registrations changed from 57 plates to 08 plates even after a few weeks in service? I can't think of any other buses where this has happened before

Pass......,

I didn't think it was possible to re-register a vehicle with a newer number plate i.e. 08 plate from a 57 plate when the vehicle has been both taxed & entered service.

Actually no. I accept that people make mistakes. I'm not quick to correct others, just him, and I'll admit the attitude that I give off when correcting him.

I'm aware of my karma rating, but who lives their life always thinking about what others think? Most of those Karma points are from two or three specific people anyway who I could quickly name.
