That one was at Northampton depot 2 weeks ago!

19087 - X4

I find it a little difficult to regard anything as particularly unusual with Stagecoach Northamptonshire, though perhaps an E400 on the X7 might be noteworthy.
Today (6 Mar 17) 19087 was on the 3 (Corby Shire Road - Danesholme).  The PVR for the 3 is five;  15401-05 are branded for it and all were in service today but only three on route 3.  Today it was worked by 15403/4/5 and 19084/7.  15401 was on the 1; 15402 was on the 24 (Oundle - Peterborough).  A double-decker, 19083, on the X1 was the nearest to an unusual working in Corby today. Yet another appearance on the X4 by 15455 certainly couldn't be termed unusual.
I can't help thinking that it would be of more interest to West Midlands enthusiasts to tell them something about more regular interesting happenings that some of them might want to see.  Today, for example, I've seen eight MANs of the batch that entered service at Cambridge in 2001, operating services throughout the day in Peterborough.  At least one, 22339, still has full route branding (37: Peterborough - Spalding).  This batch entered service before the Stagecoach national numbering scheme took effect: 22339 began life simply as Stagecoach Cambus number 39.  There are precious few buses still operated by Stagecoach that have that attribute.
They're still at Peterborough to be seen, travelled on and photographed.

Sorry about the MANs, but I live in Northampton, not Corby.  I didn't know 19087 was at Corby!

Wonder whether the major road closures for several hours this afternoon caused a few changes.
15196 was bringing Gold luxury to the 51 to Brackmills:

51 is usually a gold.  In the past 2 weeks I've seen 15935, 15941, 15943 and 18405 on it.

Hope 17728 did better than 17729 which was in the Drapery yesterday afternoon accompanied by Engineering Support.

Good choice, 18101, it knows the route well!  An X4 pioneer, it was branded for the "Cross County X4".
Though, here it's on the 45  :)
