2200 Bus

Reason two of them went back to Derby was because they had an increase in PVR for deckers.

Bob

Yea but if burton had a definite need for them two more couldve been drafted in from somewhere

I don'think 18 streetlites will be placed at cannock, atleast 9 will, 5 for the 1, 4 2/2A, friend of mine in the know has told me that 2209/2268/2274/2276/2277 will be staying
reported elsewhere 6 cannock (sapphire) 6 Shrewsbury 6 thurmaston.
Tony

Bob

So the 2/2a arent bein upgraded then. That would make sense why would they waste money on a dead route? Maybe if Shrewsbury are getting 6 theyll be for the 64/164/X64

stuartn

Six for Thurmaston? Do they even have any routes with a PVR of six?

Bob

Maybe theyre just for general use?  On another note will wednesfield ever get any half decent buses? Or will it be a shed dumping ground perpetuating a naff image for arriva forever?

They could be then allow 3999 and the versas to be used on other routes like the 56 and 51?

The 53/53a is seven buses (usually commanders) and the 56 has two buses (usually darts).

Thanks Stuart. Another possibility could be the 53/A been upgraded to Streetlite operation with 3999 and 6 new ones

And I wonder where the tamworth citylinx b9tls will end up. Four or so would be perfect to upgrade the 74/75 both of which can have standing loads in the peaks

Are there any other routes that the B9TL's can go onto at Tamworth?

Maybe the others will be 'spares' allocated to other Cannock Routes maybe with standard spec interior?

One of them (4207) is in service in Leicester today ironically on a Sapphire route, the 31

Bob

Theyll go anywhere but cannock tony :)

I never thought of that. Arriva could be doing one B9TL up at Tamworth like 4224 at Derby

I realise this is not about Arriva orders, but has anyone else noticed that the Arriva website no longer lists Oswestry in the midlands route search options.
Looking at the website I cannot see any Oswestry timetables available to download, presumably this is an oversight because ,other than the 2 group they are not on the Wales website either.
