That is the danger of having Optares in the fleet; they are always likely to break down at some point! I've used the Stratford Park and Ride a few times now and never had a problem; unfortunately I think you encountered a bad day and afraid there is nothing to be done when the road is blocked by an accident, although I'd have thought there should be some instruction from the depot in this situation by phone (or radio but I don't think they have them fitted?)
