6894 now at YW, electrician now working on 6895 at BC, with 6896 to follow, these will replace the last 3 61xx

How come the 689* are the last to enter service, did they have teething problems?

There was an unusual loan working this morning with an AG Gemini on the 49. I think it was 4679.

Does this particular working do a full journey to and/ or from Northfield or is it a E working and then back to AG.

I do find these types of workings quite unusual but also interesting.

4579 is on the 35, if of any interest...

4555 has now lost its gold Wolverhampton brand name in favour of the generic grey one. The gold stripe remains. I saw it on the 49, today.

The 6 is due for a slight timing change & it's due to get a lot more deckers if anybody was interested

Certainly during peak times the 6 could do with a capacity upgrade. I am so glad I moved to Billesley last year and not Shirley, while I'm waiting for the 2 or 3, I have often observed the single deckers on the 6 arriving in Sparkbrook fully loaded, and there are often large gaps in service. When that happens, sometimes I even struggle to get on the 3 (or 2) because they're full.

I just wonder where these deckers for the 6 are going to come from though, hope they're not planning on putting more single-decks on the 2 and 3!

Are more buses required on the 4/4A and 31/58 required from Sunday, or will the PVR remain similar to now?
Could YW get some E400 from WB for the 6 maybe?

There's no plans to change the vehicles on the 6 until the new electric buses arrive
