6124, 6125 & 6127 are currently on their way to the West Midlands :)

Lovely, seeing as the 50 is so common, I should be seeing 1 soon enough !
Caught my first glimpse of 1 today although it was a PE MMC.

At least four MMCs now inside Yardley Wood, could not see numbers only 6124.

On the website now stating some will support the 35.

Would be nice to have the likes of the 76 and 18 having a few on instead of the 35 which already has refurbished 07 Enviro 400s on it.

No doubt they may get the odd one on those routes, if the PE ones are anything to go by!
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

That's true  :) Hopefully that will happen!

Will the Plaxtons be moving out anytime soon ?!

I assume they'll eventually be replaced by Trident cascades or Enviro 400 cascades. Perhaps some of the current Enviro 400s at WA may move to YW after the new Platinum MMCs arrive.

I just found it slightly peculiar that YW were shifting out comparatively new Enviros than the old Plaxtons.

It's not YWs decision what happens, National Express decide on the movement of buses between garages, they inform YW on the bus numbers to go and YW have to do it! Otherwise you would get garages shifting there most troublesome buses out and keeping all the best for themselves.

The more I think about routes such as 18, 49, 76 kind of benefit Plaxtons as they can't go into the City Centre. The logic is always their !

With NE you have to remember that plans are subject to change, not long ago it was mooted that the PE Enviro 400s (4800 etc) were to be swapped with the same number of older Enviros from YW to try and even out the mileage. A few PE Enviros went to WA for repaint before the swap only for the plans to change and the swap never took place.

Wow, so Clayderman's MMC paper bus thing wasn't really off with the colour. Didn't the National Express website say that 17 of the buses will be branded?
