Just been on the YW 27 coming home and passed a Scania Omnilink, in service on the YW 27. At first this seems very normal - however it was in the new livery (aka bright red and no connection bars) and crucially lacking the silver light surrounds. Sadly didn't get the number - if someone sees it then please post:

It could be either three of these options

1) 57 reg on loan from PB or BY

2) One of the YW Scanias has been refurbished (would seem very odd)

3) It was 1896 from WA - it looked like it - and would make sense if 1898 has transferred in from WA last week.

It was this design just to make it clear   -       http://wmbusphotos.com/NXWM/1750-1953/1896.html

No problem, I went on it in the morning! Also I think 4363 has the wrong number plate at the front for 4362's, also 4387's fleet number on the top deck is wrong, it says 3487! Also Tony, on 1914's page it shows a picture of 1910 in the West Midlands bus photo website.

Wow - you have a good eye for small details - I wouldn't have noticed 4363 having the wrong number plate!

I actually was on a stop waiting for the 3 to come and saw 4363 come to stop and my eyes saw BX02 AVV on it.

Every one seems to have missed 1901 on the 6 for the second day running

1800 on the 6 to day at lunchtime

Spotted 1800 and 1901 together on the 6 early this morning - Is 1901 a permanent transfer like 1898?

If these Omnilinks are replacing the B10L's at YW then I'd say so :)

Great  ;) Glad to have more Scanias at YW - favourite single decker at NX apart from the Wright Eclipse Urban (56 regs). At WA I assume the arrival of the new Enviro 200s and some Geminis transferring in have allowed this.

WA haven't received any E200's yet, however, when they do I would think those would allow the B6LE to be withdrawn. I would guess it is ex WB Gemini that are allowing the Omnilinks to cascade to YW

I think the Omnilinks in YW should just stick to the route 6, 84 and 27, they are just get so annoying on the route 3.
