Thought the 952 never carried anything? Hence its withdrawal. Nice to see it comeback though.
No doubt it will be Omnilinks.
Not on the NX website. Short notice. Look forward to overcrowded 33s and 51s again.
How come it's reverting back to the 952? @John

No doubt it will revert back once it's changed back to the 952 to the 52/A again. Looks like the users have got what they wanted back again, a limited stop service.

In my opinion the 52/A helped ease out the loadings on the 33 and 51. So quite silly in a way.

No idea. The 52 is the least used service down the Birchfield Road as people perfer the 33 then the 51. It alao saves a few buses as off peak I think only uses 3 buses

It is on the website somewhere as I've seen screenshots of it on a Facebook group

Reason it's least used is because people prefer DD's! Not E200's or overcrowded Omnilinks! I personally think this is daft. The 52 can be full down Birchfield Road a lot.

It seems to be on the Black Country service changes. Seems as though that the 33 and 51 are going to more frequent but staying at every 10 minutes, wouldn't it make more sense to revert them both back to 8 minutes?

PB never cared about the 52/A anyway, just got anything and everything. Wonder if the 952 will be PB's non-fixed allocated route? It could share the Spare Platniums with the 907.

It would be a help if they moved the 907 from the present X51 stop in lower Bull Street, most evenings when i get the 907 the bus can't get in because of the X51's and with there being more of them it will make it harder, I would suggest moving it to the 934-7/997 stop, I know there are more buses there but there is more space compared to the X51 stop which is cramped which is made worse by the stop being at the traffic lights.

I have a feeling when the 952 returns it will be shoved at the X51 stop, alongside the 907 making it worse than it already is.

Does this mean PB running slightly less buses then?

I'm surprised it's the 952 and not the X52 given all of the X routes in recent times.
Local Routes: 002, 39/39A, X21, 46, 76.
Localish Routes: 18, 23, X22.

The argument is usually 9** for Limited Stop routes vs X for Express routes, although the X64 is the least express route you can get.

Wouldn't that mean the X61 should've been the 961 then? Though I guess you can say Limited Stop services are Express services themselves.

I think so - when it was the 952 previously it was 5/6 buses. The current 52/A is 8 buses (11 buses in Peaks). I think the 952 should interwork with the 907.

I think the 952 is better than the X52.

Let's face it, there's no consistency in the 9xx and the Xxx numbering. You have the odd proper express route like the X51, and the majority which are limited stop over part of the route, then all stops after that, regardless of the numbering.

Then you have the X64 and X96.
