Are the deckers still in use here (17,19,20,36)? Also not seen 21 and 33 out for a while. 

are these the ones replaced with the z fleet? interesting those 3 buses are off lease already. Are they faulty or is there another reason

Replacement new engines, i have noticed more than any other type of bus the number of Enviro 200s getting brand new crate engines from cummins, is ther a flaw with them or just normal wear and tear 

i dont think they are the best to start with hard worked small engine in a bus, im sure the same engine is used in the hybrids and those converted to diesel struggling and having engines replaced. 

Although it seems noteworthy, full use of the Hydrogens starts today and they will be on all Birmingham routes. Should be 6 out every Sunday (more once they are cleared for the X51 between Walsall and Cannock after a low hanging tree is trimmed), and every fit one out on weekdays up to a maximum of 17

i remember yn53elv being 1 or 2 (the other yn53svt) new at choice travel. They certainly have come a long way since the son took over, and seem to be able to retain drivers

Theres a reason why barely any large operators do electric conversions they mostly always end up being extremely unreliable and expensive

I understand that point, but the platinum e400mmcs some of the newest come 2030 will only be 11 years old so if they work on book value being spread over 15 to 18 years for example, I cant see nxwm writing those off unless they either convert, or maybe sell them on?

The whole way the Union have handled this have been poor. The Union appointed a negotiator who asked NX for above inflation rise and a 3 year deal. NX offered that. The Union initially strongly recommended acceptance, so not sure what else management could do at that stage. Local reps then complained about the 3 year deal, so initially a two year deal, then a one year deal were offered.

I heard this "negotiator" went in alone without local reps knowing and nobody wanted a 2 year deal let alone a 3

unite sent email amending the time and date cock up. I dont know why they even talking about the november "rise" as it was to cover the shortened average time so drivers didnt loose out. It was promised that it wasnt part of the january talks. However this is a big mess, and it needs resolving quickly. Wonder why theres a shortage of drivers and high turnoverof staff in this industry? heres a good reason

When have you known an NXWM bus get a new livery without getting an interior retrim

The tridents from original low floor livery to red/white livery, some did yes but not all. Also the E400 hybrids based at pl. They got crimsoned but have retained their hybrid green moquette

i wonder if the mk1 b7s will be held onto as reserve, or sold on.
