The 735 was taken over by Coventry Minicoaches from yesterday who are based in Portway Close, Tile Hill. The fleet can be seen outside the depot on Google Street view.
Yesterday's bus was slimline Optare Solo YD63UZP.

The Rocket is parked outside St. Helens Town Hall on a low loader enroute to 190th anniversary celebrations of Rainhill Trials.
Passers by were taking pictures with their smartphones.

Went to station to find trains were delayed by overhead line damage. It wasnt like this when Pacers operated.
I wonder if passers by would stop in awe if they saw a Pacer in 100 years time!

As usual I caught the first Sunday 2 into town.
Advised everyone it will run five minutes earlier next Sunday to avoid them missing it! They were grateful if a bit no plussed.
