Age is irrelevant. If the damage is too severe to be repaired then a vehicle will be written off regardless of age. Not referring to E062 here but in general 

From the photos and videos I have seen, the road won't be open anytime soon. The 74s will be on diversion untill at least tomorrow morning. From what I have read there have been four deaths. Some car came speeding down on the wrong side of the road, then hit a car and then multiple cars. Police are now investigating this incident. There is around 5 cars involved maybe more.

Does this affect routes in Kingstanding, I'm sure the 997 runs near or down Shady Lane

Shouldn't have affected the 997 or any other route as that factory is on the far end of Shade Lane after the 997 turns off onto Oscott School Lane. No buses use the top end of Shady Lane

It seems to be a regular problem lately.

At the time of writing according to Bustimes, the 1455 from Bloxwich has arrived in Bilston several minutes late & is sitting in the Bus Station, instead of coming straight out to run the late 1536 to Bloxwich.

I suspect, as this has also happened recently, this bus will become the 1610 to Bloxwich instead.

Is the driver actually taking a break at this point, or is there an actual problem with the bus?

Edit : Bus stuck in Bilston BS now disappeared from Bustimes.

Looks like all 326's are running late!

I would rather the driver have a break and be rested ready to start the next trip late than rush round and possibly have an accident because they have been driving for too long without any sort of break, however frustrating it might be

Just looking some buses are running nearly 2 hours late after getting delayed both inbound and outbound from City

THe ones on the A34 don't seem to be moving at all (yes I'm bus times spotting  )

Can see a few of those buses having to be parked up soon for exceeding driving hours

Not seen it this bad since we had the WW2 bomb in Aston a few years back

I was up there last month and again, hardly any were out. Don't know if it has improved since 

16A's are a mess. Loads of people at West Brom moaning and saying they want the 46 back. I can agree, the 16A for reliability is shocking. Every person has said 'why take off a service that's been going for years and always carried lots of people?'

I was out in Sutton earlier and I'm sure I seen 6816 stripped of its X3/X4/X5 branding. I wasn't that close but certainly looked like it, so apologise in advance if it wasn't! But can anyone confirm this please?

Think it has been price branded now. Saw one on the 33 (on which 6816 is tracking on) this morning with no ad frames

4823 is now de branded from the 101 and is now daysaver branded. With a new font looks very smart. Saw it on the 907 this evening
