Unless I've missed it, no special livery for the Platinum Jubilee from NX Bus, though they do already have a lot of Platinum buses!

I have noticed on the Electric buses at YW over the last few days, the addition on the front of a purple crown showing a random year.

Any significance to the years selected, or just random years from during the monarch's reign?
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

There will be 70 Electric buses with those crowns on, one showing each year of the Queen's reign. Watch out for E052 when it is delivered in a few weeks

Noticed a diamond had a special livery bus out on the 4 today.

32134. Which has been on the 50 and 94 as well as rail replacement in its livery.

Streetdeck 40751 in Bolton has also been painted into a similar livery.

E011 has been at Wythall today and has a crown below the windscreen with 1961 printed on it

Unless I've completely miscalculated, does that mean one of E001-E010 doesn't get one? Or is E001 having a special livery or something similar?

Current 'special passenger validation' permit held.

There will be 75 Electrics soon bar the 4 in Watford. So 5 wouldn't get one I think.
Local Routes

Depends if there is any 'sequence' to the numbering I suppose.

E011 gets 1961
E012 gets 1962 (from Tony's latest photo)

Elizabeth II became Queen in 1952 (though her coronation wasn't until 1953)

If the buses are getting numbered in sequence, then by extrapolation yes it would seem that E001 gets 'missed out'.

Bit late to have a special livery at this point, though I guess the Jubliee goes on beyond this weekend.

I am however now intrigued by Tony's comment about looking out for E052, which would be 2002 (50 years) or 1998 if the Mullaneys vehicles are not included in this.
