I'm told Silverline YJ56 APO gave up in Solihull Station

Silverline don't serve Solihull Station only the Town Centre ;)

Common misconception. Drivers regularly take breaks in the station with the bus, or Solihull lay over time.

2 Tridents towed into Central today, one was 4617, and I didn't see the fleetnumber of the other

Also, a Green Bus Spectra broke down this morning on Greenside Way, Yew Tree while on a school service, still with a full load

 4342 took me home this evening on the 15:48 76 from Kings Heath today. Must've got it fixed and put it back into service during the day.

I wondered if it could have limped into the bus stop opposite Tesco's instead of blocking one lane of the ring road?

Yes it is indeed. Came into Wolves towards Warstones about 15:20. Rode it to Warstones then back getting back into Wolverhampton about 16:15

I live 5 minutes from there and i can tell you i see ALX400 DAF's  regually on the back of a Mansfield Truck ;D ;)
