Nope, Pensnett's Enviros all have it, hence how I know about it in the first place

On the 9 they always bleep on Broad Street, near the ICC

On the 141 they always bleep on Cradley Heath high street near the interchange

That's because they were new to Central Matt, like the Ex Central Presidents that Stu mentioned

Yeah, realised just after I posted it!

Are there any buses at Central which were new to a different garage and don't have the BridgeClear?

Alot of them. Majority of 41 tridents, for a start.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Yesterday, 1553 broke down on the 243 in Cradley, replaced by 1643
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

All buses that were at Birmingham Central in early 2009 would have had it installed. The accident with 4253 was on the last day of January, so I would think the Bridge-Clear would have been installed in the rest of the Central fleet not long after this

I don't know whether it was just that there was no relief, but 4807 came into Dudley on time off the 241 this evening, ready to do the 20:45 140 to Birmingham, driver even changed the display, but did not move. It then went blank and sat there. When I left just before 9pm on the 126, it was still sitting there lifeless. Not long later in Bearwood I saw 2154 flying down the Hagley Road out of service heading into Birmingham, I'm wondering if that was going to take over 4807's running board on the 21:30 140 from Birmingham.

Wasn't 2154 on the 9 today?

Yes, as I posted in the unusual workings thread, I rode it on the 9 earlier. Looking at the Network West Midlands app a few minutes ago, the 22:15 241 from Dudley was running almost on time, so presumably 2154 took over, as there is no way 4807 would've made it back on time even if it did get going.

Just passed 4533 broken down in Quinton on 140

Passed a Trident on tow while I was on the X96 this afternoon. Presumably it was coming from Merry Hill so may have been on the 255. (It had a screen in the front window so not one of PEs)

4151 broke down while on the 957 at Moor Street at about 10:30 this morning wouldn't start and 4151 was going to be my bus back to Sheldon but the driver told us to get on 4911 and a 46** Trident took over 4151's duties on the 957

Don't know if this was a breakdown but I spotted 4196 out of service at birchley island oldbury on the way towards blackheath, it was a driver not an engineer. Around midday.

Announcement at Stourbridge Bus Station saying the 1158 diamond 142 won't be running due to it breaking down. I bet the office is having a fun day at Tividale with 20852s problem earlier and lost drivers on the new tenders.
