Went to YW today to sample a B10L on the 27. As i arrived so did 1447, however the driver said it had devloped a fault and told us to get on 1919 which was parked outside the garage. Disappointment, well no because 1919 made it about half a mile & broke down (ABS lights on and wouldn't accelarate). So 1413 had to come to the rescue.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Was also outside YW garage for about an hour today just noting everything going on, seemed that the 18's were swapping about and a lot of buses were leaving NIS, one of these was 1413, also 4373 (If I remember properly) was parked right in the doorway looking like it was ready to go out, but then an engineer took over, flung it round the roundabout and parked it up again so not sure what happened to that one

I noticed the 18s, normally they turn round the roundabout and park outside the garage awaiting next turn of duty, today they were taking the buses inside the garage? Also the 18 had a B10L on it???

No, usually every other 18, goes inside the garage to layover, so its not unusual to see them going inside, and almost every day a B10L, is out on the 18, in fact it is not unusual to see every YW vehicle type on the 18, that was nearly true today with Presidents, Tridents, 1 B10 and one Enviro, just needed a Omnilink out to complete the set

4567 (126) broken down at the Amber Tavern towards city at 8.10 this morning. 2082 and 4812 (both on the 9) were picking up displaced passengers although 2082 wasn't a whole lot of use in that respect.

2082 has a licensed maximum capacity larger than either 4567 or 4812!

Can you elaborate on that, Tony?

they can apparantly hold 100 passengers

That is fantasy, no way in the real world will a driver allow 100 passengers onto a B7RLE, most will close the doors at about 15-20 standees, therefore you won't usually get much more than 60 people on a B7RLE

Enviros can seat 77 passengers

Problem was, on a rush hour 9 working it was already full as it pulled in behind 4567. The E400 took most of the 126's passengers.
