4802 broke down yesterday on Colmore Row. Was there when I parked the car in Snow Hill car park at 1.15pm, and was still there 2 hours later, with a NXWM flatbed Transit attending by then

4805 sat behind a Mansfield near Colley Gate around 19:30. 4805 was perfect earlier, no idea what went wrong. Don't know what's up with my Enviros lately.

4595 broken down on Birmingham New Road near Coseley around 2pm

They do seem a pretty poor quality company-newer buses sold, old mpds some have had panel damage for months and possibly the worst livery of any company in the west midlands. I wouldnt be surprised to see them sold soon

The E300s had problems left right and centre, that is why they've gone...no wonder they've got 5 52 plate darts now as the E300s were shocking reliability.

You criticise Hansons livery but compare it to the likes of Travel Express and their habit of not repainting or The 50 shades of NXWM...

At least Hansons are innotive...like launching things like the 004 and 250/251 (which got praised in the local rag as a safer way for OAPs to get around Stourbridge centre).

Buses do break down you know no matter who it is but I don't see you being critical to NX or Diamond?

All opinions and onions mentioned on here are mine and not those of any employer, current, past, present or future, or presented as fact, unless I prove it otherwise.

4098 (49) broken down Kings Norton 0945hrs.

A 55 branded OmniLink spilled the contents of its radiator over the road in Chelmsley Wood this morning. Can not remember which one  ::)

I'd agree. Hansons are one of the better small independents. And one of the regular drivers on the 004 looks like Bill Bailey.

Haha ;D I know who you mean, see him in Halesowen all the time

trident4370

4065 and 4659 both broken down just 1 stop apart from each other today at the same time, going in opposite directions!

Trident 4609

4567 was making a strange noise coming from the cab (The alarm type noise when the cab door opens while the bus is still moving) but kept continuing to sound off and i just saw 639 on the 59 so must have replaced it

nitromatt1

Technically not a breakdown but Merc 1621 seen in Halesowen around 4:50pm with smashed offside window

Hansons have done well to develope their own network of routes in addition to Centro tenders they operate and appear to have built a loyal following following the antics of Diamond on the 226. I have noticed that repaints in full livery have stopped and there is also a small 58 plate E200 still going round with a new black panel on the front after a number of months
