BX09 SNV. Rotala engineer came and tried their best to get the bus running but no luck. It was interesting seeing buses reversing and did three-point turns. Click here for the picture.
Not surprised, the Centro's are crap now, Royales are awful now. The MAN Centro's aren't as bad.

how come it took 5 hours to get a tow truck I thought tividale  had there own tow truck
Maybe because Tividale's tow truck was dealing with another breakdown.

DJ

There was a 1 branded E400H getting towed down the Wolverhampton ring road earlier, didn't catch which one I'm afraid.

Any views/comments are my own and do not reflect those of my employer.

MAN are the most unreliable buses going! Granted Volvo aren't that much better these days but definitely better than MAN. Scania are the way forward  8)

True, I was generally talking about Tividale's MAN's, 30120/30302/30922 etc, those can fly down the roads on the 40! I will agree with you about Volvo though.

2088 has completed all it's mileage on the 276 and has not broken down
2098 has not been anywhere near the 276 and has also not broken down

Do you have any evidence of the Volvo's being unreliable? Which Volvo's? Very broad statement made there!

Something I've always wondered about, is what happens it the last bus of the night breaks down? Is a replacement bus found and the service runs late or do they not put another bus on?

I've been lucky and it never happened to me waiting for the last 448 at the old West Brom bus station back in the '80's, but reading this thread has made me wonder what would happen.

Only just noticed this, but what Dom said in response
I've experienced that once before with the last 51 from town - 01:02
Many people waiting abandoned and went for a taxi but I knew it was still going to turn up. Eventually came well gone half 1 and with only 5 people on board in the end made for a gloriously fast ride home
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....
