The West Midlands Historic Society is a small group of NXWM employees, who with the permission of the NXWM board are helping preserve some of the history of the company. It is us that has got the heritage fleet and heritage liveries authorised.

As all we have done so far is cost national Express money we are now looking to start paying some of that back!

If you are interested in travelling to Cobham Spring Gathering on Sunday 7th April we are taking Metrobus 2957 and a platinum (either 6943 or 6944), The metrobus will be taking fare paying passengers.

The cost of TRAVEL ONLY to and from the event is £10 payable upon entry to the bus. We require you to email us to confirm your interest, as we only have limited space. Entry to the event is £12.50 if booked in advance or more if paid on the day, see

https://www.londonbusmuseum.com/event/spring-gathering/?event_date=2019-04-07

Pick ups will be at Wolverhampton Garage (Staff Only) & Stafford St, Dudley Outside Dudley Zoo, Birmingham at the FRONT of New St Station and Maypole. Please do not ask for any stops along the route as this will be refused.

We will confirm the pick-up times shortly either via the email address you used to book the trip or on this page but will be probably be as early as 05:30 from Wolverhampton to 06:45 at the Maypole as we have to be on site at Cobham by 10:00

We are testing the water with this event.... If it is something that is of interest to you all, we will look to plan some more over the summer... WATCH THIS SPACE.

If anyone wishes to book can I ask that you email us at the following address....

nxhistorictrips@gmail.com

specifying their preferred pick up point.

To stick within legalities spaces will need to be pre-booked via the above email and payment will be by cash on boarding the vehicle
