First Bus - Leicester

StreetDeck 35154 - SN65 OKF is now at First Leicester's Abbey Lane depot.

All five of the E400s (33504, 33559, 33563, 33567 & 33568), which were route branded for the 14 / 14A, have now had their branding removed.

B7TLs 32066, 32071 & 32072 are currently in Worcester. 32071 was latterly on loan to Bath, for Great Western work.

Are the B7TL's at Wyvern likely to return to Leicester as I hear the batch are to be transferred out at the end of the year to Essex, Bristol and Cornwall. Or is this just more talk?

Streetdeck looks good though. What route will have the pleasure?

32066 is a permanent transfer to Worcester.

32071 & 32072 have now departed Worcester and are now at Lawrence Hill (Bristol), joining 32069 & 32070.

The 14/14A is expected to see the StreetDecks on it.

The East Midlands Yahoo Group states that 27 ALX400's are soon to move from Leicester to Bristol to cope with a sharp increase in patronage there. Does that include 32069-72 and what will replace them?

The same group mentions an order for 29 Streetdecks to be delivered March 2016.

The 29 StreetDecks next year is correct.

According to First's planned fleetlist for January there will only be one ALX400 B7TL remaining at Leicester; replacements appear to be this year's five StreetDecks, the forthcoming StreetLites and the seven 02-plate B7Ls which are to return from Potteries although this being First, all is no doubt subject to change!

35152 arrived at Abbey Lane depot today leaving just 35151 to appear. It is thought that the latter bus may be at the Roanza Mercedes dealership, on Trafford Park Road, Manchester.

It has been in Birmingham operating the Villa Park Rugby World Cup shuttles. I'm sure Worcester depot are using Streetlites on the shuttles too.

Thought it might have something to do with the Rugby... Before it changed to NIS, it did say '*something* Shuttle' - I guess it must've been "Rugby Shuttle" - Still, there's something odd, yet weirdly satisfying about the appearance of the Streetdeck which makes them look nice on the streets of Brum... I really hope the B5 demo is the start of a NXWM/Wrightbus contract.

Leicester's 35154 and 35155 were both in use on the rugby shuttles today.

Volvo B7TLs 32073, 32074, 32075 and 32076 departed Leicester last night (08/10/2015) and are now in Bristol.

StreetDecks 35152, 35153, 35154 and 35155 entered "normal" service, on routes 14 / 14A, on Wednesday (07/10/2015). 35154 managed an escape from the routes it is branded for, by operating the 1840 service 94 from the city centre to Glenfield!

35151 is still in Manchester.
