i have observed Hanson's buses missing part of the route on the 226 to get in front of Diamonds buses on several occasions and have been shown a text sent from a Hansons manager telling their drivers to hang back from 1511 to 1519 so as to stop Diamond picking up the schoolkids so Hansons are no strangers to playing the game themselves.
it's been a while....

I'm sure Hanson's aren't as 'squeaky clean' as the Hanson's fans will lead us believe...... any company would 'bend the rules' to protect its revenues / business

Hanson's have had no quarms about launching the X26 in competition with NXWM's X96 between Dudley - Merry Hill, but don't seem to like when on the receiving end from Diamond on the 226

Todays bus due @ 1550, arrived ay 1604, only 14 minutes late, hansons right behind. Wouldn't catch the cowboys if i didn't need the other half of my return aftr 7pm. Picture of ticket will be uploaded later.
if they are 95% compliant, i hope the other 19 journeys are compliant.

Was it Swift liveried MPD 20535 KW02CVV by any chance? I've just seen it on Rangeways Rd @ 4.50pm heading towards Dudley being followed by a Hanson's Dart, I'm assuming the Diamond one was the one running late. I also saw the Hanson's E200 in the opposite direction but not the Diamond one as that must have further in front this time.

Looks as though it was Hanson's on this occasion running checked the Diamond timetable, Hanson's were either 15 mins early or late with the Diamond one behind overtaking.

Either way its daft having them following each other round again!

Nope I'm sure! I was heading to the Nursery at the former Wordsley Hospital, on Rangeways Rd @ 4.50pm 20535 Diamond was in front of KU52YKZ? of Hansons (closely following each other). Using the opp Wordsley Hopsital times for Hanson's they were due at either 16:35 or 17:05. On this occasion it appeared that the Diamond 16:50 226 was on time.....

Employing his former employers tactics then......  :P

I don't understand why Hansons & Diamond aren't working in co-operation to deliver a 15 minute service to passengers that require the 226, rather than trying to one-up each other. I would've sod the service ages ago if I were a passenger

Not mentioning possible lost revenue if someone was waiting, I wonder what his employer would think of him making a new route?
