Another man? Those things really don't have much luck

Their luck couldn't get any worse with diamond maintainance.
Will miss 1515-1743, Volvo B6LE, Dennis darts, spectras and the Volvo B10s

I have a feeling it was the XL Man Plaxton Centro as the report indicates it was a 46 seater.

RE the heaters, the reason for them being on is to help cool the engine as the heater use the heat from the engine. Mind you I was told this a couple of years ago by a couple of former FMR and Diamond drivers as that was what they were told to do by the mechanics.
Midland Red West, one of the best Companies to serve Redditch, with some of the best buses.

Yeah it's true. The heaters use engine heat. Same with cars. If the engine is overheating, putting your heaters on releases the engine heat. Obviously it's the radiators job to cool the engine, but with it being Diamond, the heat must have melted the duck tape holding the bus together.

Right for anyone that is interested 4 MAN's are moving from Kidderminster to Tividale this weekend these will be the following buses

• 30120 (B14 WTS)
• 30922 (B20 WTS)
• 30802 (KX08 HMZ)
• 30302 (SN09 FUW)

These are going to be replaced by four 57 reg Volvo which I am assuming will be 30508/509 and either 30813/814 or 815

I am letting people know as the MAN's will be used in service at Tividale so if anyone see's one of them on the 002/4H/16W (etc) then this is why

Why is the swap necessary? Take our finest b7rles why don't you. You could have our ex redditch b7rles which don't have the same amount of go as 30813/30814/30815

There's normally a number of MAN'S VOR @ KR anyone time, that's now the second MAN @ KR to be destroyed by fire in less than a year. Bob Baker commented on FB that parts for them are also becoming hard to source/expensive. I personally, would seriously consider disposing of the entire MAN/Centro fleet, even if you had to take a hit on it.

I'd have thought Tividale's E300's would have been better candidates for swapped with KR, to keep the number of vehilce types to a minimum
