Four Green Bus vehicles out today on 19 and 39. Had to modify timetables and route due to the size of the vehicles but other than a couple of hic ups all gone well so far. 120 on the 38 service and has returned without any tree branches. Once again big big thanks to Ian and his staff and also Tony for getting all this done. All Worcester services out today using a coach, a mini bus and a solo, should have been a good day for spotters !!! Same service tomorrow but we are off to pick up 6 ex London E200 so if they come ready for service the end of the week will look much better. Finally keep a look out for perhaps three unexpected introductions into the fleet early next week ????

Heard some rumours that The Green bus have put in a bid for the ex Walsall 17** B7RLE'S aswell not sure how true this is or just aload of rubbish but would be interesting if they did buy them what exactly would they use them for

Correct, greenbus buses don't have any ticket machines fitted

What about Monday and beyond though?
Would they have enough buses to operate these and the school services they run?

I have to agree. There's a credibility issue for the tramway system now - why should we spend hundreds of millions on more of it if the 74 and 79 bus are constantly having to come to the rescue?
As a transport enthusiast I would in theory like to see the tram system expand, but it looks like a sprint network (with Platinum style double-decks please) will be much more robust.
On the TfWM website, underneath "West Midlands Metro suspended" is the strapline "Ready when you're ready". Don't think so. Sorry.

105 was sold to a preservationist in August
I believe 111 and 129 are also withdrawn in storage, and that 397 has not actually left the fleet, @pndriver will be able to confirm as I am away from Birmingham
Everything else looks correct and Geminis/E400s are all correct

LJ09 CDY now confirmed as 612 and likewise LJ09 CEF as 615.
#607 now has a digital destination display - the first I have seen on one of 601-19.

I am told Select are taking the 242 from Monday due to driver shortage.

One of their Geminis was in Dudley today, with 'Recruitment Bus' and 'The Green Bus needs you!' on the blinds.
