Quote from: Steve3229vp on February 24, 2024, 01:15:54 PMYou haven't thought this through have you:
Where would you get the double deckers from ? With single deckers already appearing on double decker routes in Birmingham, especially YW services 2 and 3, also frequently appearing on PB services 7, 33, 65, 67 and 907. Which routes would have to lose it's double deckers to put on to the 4s ?
There's 80 new DD EV's virtually ready to enter service for a start, resulting in cascaded DD's elsewhere + allowing for single deckers to be withdrawn. With another 90 due to complete full 170 order. Plus another few hundred to follow.

Mobico senior executives have once again rattled the stock market by delaying FY results due to 'accounting judgments' in the German Rail business:

Quote from: B61 ANDREW on February 18, 2024, 08:44:06 PMDoes anyone have any idea what will happen with the Boa Vista's ?? Are there any other NX routes that would have a use for such vehicles or will they get sold off ??
The 66 plate Boa Vista's will be too old, they'll be 8 years old this Autumn. I suspect they will all be returned off lease & sold off including the 18 plate examples.

I understand that spare parts aren't that easy to source & they're not that reliable.

Quote from: Straightlines on February 15, 2024, 10:59:56 PMIt isn't the only site that Transport for West Midlands own in the West Midlands that is capable of being a bus depot and certainly doesn't sound like it will be the last.
Franchising here we come....😬

Quote from: Wumpty on February 15, 2024, 08:53:44 PMThat's correct, and it's not unusual for large organisations/businesses to realign their assets and look to sell and re-lease the land.

Tata Steel did a similar thing around 10 years ago by selling their Steelpark and Dudley sites and re-leasing them back.
Especially when they're in debt up to their eyeballs & their shareprice is at bargain basement levels...

Quote from: karl724223 on February 15, 2024, 04:26:11 PMSimple Simple question who let him back on then ?
Is it to hard to answer ?
We don't have to answer anything to you, especially when you don't abide by forum rules, simple requests & instructions.

Just because you work for NX, it doesn't mean you do what you like on here then complain about everyone else breaking the rules / being annoying, look in the mirror!

The Pensnett thread will now be locked until such time that you & others stop disrupting the forum (which is now only the long term members still causing problems)

Anyone starting a new Pensnett Garage thread or continuing to comment elsewhere will be banned permanently from the forum.

You know nothing. You just think you do.

You & @Jack clearly can't follow simple requests / instructions.

Quote from: Jack on February 15, 2024, 03:11:41 PMThis forum has always been on one rule for one and one for another. And it's always members who have been on here years getting told off when it's newer members constantly filling up the forum with crap.
That's because the minority of long members don't follow our requests / forum rules & continue to re-ignite the bickering on the forum.

If people don't like the forum or the way its run, feel free to leave. The majority of those complaining don't add anything of value anyway.

End of Subject.

Unfortunately, you're not a law abiding member & you frequently post crap, as you think you're being funny & clever, but you're just not.
