Quote from: Solo1 on March 10, 2024, 11:00:33 PM32260 is at Burton saw a post on midland classic page saying it's arrived there
Looking at FB, 32260 has arrived at Burton, but apparently it is only on loan for a day or so, but will ultimately transfer to Tividale.

Burton are due to receive ex Johnson E200's from Kidderminster later this week.

National Express West Midlands / Re: Buses on loan

Quote from: don on March 06, 2024, 12:56:07 AMI'm sure the forum staff can deal with these things but @Jack these posts moaning about other members are very tiresome.

I couldn't agree more, if @Jack & others who feel the need to comment have nothing useful or helpful to say, don't bother posting at all! Winston

Quote from: MX05WHR-Enjoyer on March 05, 2024, 08:39:01 AMCan you please tell whoever allocates buses that 247 7:50 to redditch shouldn't have single deckers. Both of the other vehicles on the route are double decker so why does the busiest working have single deckers.

It used to have double deckers and there would be standees so single deckers are just stupid.

Thanks
Redditch currently has less double deckers, as 40837 went on loan to DBNW & hasn't returned, its gone to Burton instead.

Quote from: Wba_lad on February 29, 2024, 05:23:45 PMIs hydrogen really a wise idea, with the problem national express west midlands are facing with the streetdecks, dont get me wrong i love hydrogen streetdecks and i think hydrogen is a better idea than electric but dont seem like its working as of yet.
Electric can't do the range NX coaches would need.

Quote from: TheMidlandsTrident on February 29, 2024, 04:26:06 PMIt is good to hear the vehicles are getting fixed. Most of these happened over 6 months so not all may still be active but like today i was on 30169 and it still has a very slow gearbox.
Why bother reporting defects from 6 months ago, only current ones are worthwhile.

There was already a vehicle defect thread only created late last year too.

Quote from: Wumpty on February 29, 2024, 07:44:33 AMExciting news and investment.

@Tony will these be fitted with common charging plugs so they may be charged at other NX sites like CV if required?
It's only a demo on 4 weeks trial on London - Standard routes with NX, for both Pelican & NX to gain operating experience.

I believe Caetano are developing a hydrogen powered coach too.

Not 100% sure, but I thought the rear O/S main indicator on 6780 wasn't working when it pulled out of the bus stop infront of me, the upper rear repeater was though.
