That reminds me of the old 73 / 737 Birmingham International Station to Birmingham Business Park which was also a very short quick route. 20 mins round trip maybe?

Back in the days of Ludlows, the 006 was around a 20-25 round trip from Halesowen to the Squirrels Estate.

The old 609 evening service between Halesowen and Hayleu Green was only 20 minute round trip.

On the tfwm website the reduction to hourly frequency on the 46 has been put against the 46 West Brom to Scott Arms.

And they still think duplicate numbers doesn't cause confusion!

Based on what I see, the Hawkesley to Northfield part of the 46/prev 48 seems to carry more passengers than Hawkesley to QE. Extension of the 35 to Northfield as one of the options?

Extending some of the 35 journeys seems like the obvious option.

Seems odd Hawkesley will lose its direct link to Cotteridge and Kings Norton Station.

It's confusing for sure but don't know how it could be simplified:

My suggestion would be:
23 - Reverts to the old route via Adams Hill and Romsley Road where it would terminate like the old 21 used to.

X21 and X22 - Terminate at the Field Lane terminus in Woodgate both following the existing X22 route in Bartley Green (As the 22 and X64 routes used to follow)

Is anyone planning on doing the X92 on the last Tuesday in August?
#37
Agreed.  The number of changes between the QE and Bartley Green / Northfield has been crazy over the last 10 yeara.  I also suspected it was only going to be a matter of time before the X21 was extended back to Bartley Green.

It's strange but actually quite good.

The Bartley Woods and Carmel Grove stops (which the 23 used to use before it got rerouted to Newman University) will now be served again, meaning all of Adams Hill now has some bus service (which was campaigned for a while back now).

I do appreciate the fact that NX considered that.

Just a thought but with the X21 now going to Bartley Green, the 23 could return to its old line of route avoiding having buses to Birmingham stopping on opposite sides of the road on Romsley Road.

Oh fab. Thanks so much for letting me know

Aha, thanks for the explanation!  Much appreciated. Cheers

Yes, that's what I thought, but doesn't appear to be the case now.

Was hoping to ride it before it opens to regular services, so looks like will be an early Cardiff bound train will need to do :-)

Thanks so much.

Looks like it really varies for day to day.  Tomorrow there are easily 20+ passenger trains using this route but next week possible only around 5.

Really useful link so thank you for providing it!

Does anyone know if any passenger trains as using the Camp Hill Line at the moment?

There used to be a Cross Country train service to Bristol leaving New Street at xx43 which was booked to use the Camp Hill Line.

Does this still run that way, or does anyone know how I can find out please?

Isn't it that timetabled shorts don't use the E, and non timetabled curtailments do show the E?

E.g a non timetabled curtailment to the 28 would show 28E MERRY HILL, whereas the timetabled shorts show 28 MERRY HILL

That's quite confusing.  Understand why it makes sense for people in the know, but not necessarily for passengers .

Any word on how the changes to the 11 are going?
