Have any of the new Enviro400's bound for Leamington been in service yet?
I guess that these may withdraw the Olympians for disposal and maybe the lone Trident in UniLink livery, 17059 may get repainted and kept with Leamington, to replace another step floor DD.

I believe they have not yet entered service at Leamington (although they spent the summer on Olympics duty). It looks like they may enter service around the end of the month. I guess you're probably right about replacing Olympians - there won't be many left in Warwickshire when the Enviros enter service. It looks like only Stratford depot will still be using Olympians on all-day duties.
I have just had my 4 weekly update from Stagecoach, I will put full details on the main site tomorrow when I have gone through them, but the E400s are due to enter service on 30th September.
Single decks 28625-7 are in service at Northampton and 28621-4 are due to enter service there on 14th October 2012
16458 (RY) & 16618 (LN) have both died
I had a couple of rides on the U17 today between Coventry and the Uni, and saw most (but not all) vehicles on it today. None were the new ADL Enviro 400s, so perhaps they haven't entered service just yet.
For the record, I saw Tridents 17059, 18399-401, and a Scania Enviro 400 (15676 I think).
All but one are out on the U1 today, photos later
Unidentified Unilink liveried Enviro seen working 09:45 journey on route 16 from Coventry to Leamington Spa this morning on a service that is usually worked by Stratford garage.
They sometimes work the 26 as well :/
Saw 2 on the 26 both a hour apart leaving Redditch

Your/You're? .... Learning/leaving? - glass houses?
Sorry I use my phone as a dictation device sometimes
Not sure about the 0945 from Coventry, but Leamington do have scheduled workings on the 16 and the 26. Also, as Stratford has a small allocation, Leamington will lend buses to Stratford if required (although as Stratford has no ADL Enviros, they are probably less likely to be borrowed from LN).
Two Unilink Enviros on X15/X18 today which could be Leamington workings. Another was on the 67 to Lillington when I was in Leamington Spa this evening. The U1/U2 is much reduced in the holiday period running only every half hour on Saturdays meaning there are plenty spare. At least they are getting about rather than just zooming up and down the A46 between Sydenham and the Uni!

When I was last in Leamington, on a Saturday afternoon in November, a Unibus Enviro was on the X18. The Unibus requirement is lower on a Saturday (max 5) than on any other day of the week - even Sundays, because that is when the U17 runs to Coventry.
17059 is operating from Stratford Upon Avon today and so should be on its former branded route, the 28.
The Unilink Enviros have been named after professors. Appreciate this may have been posted elsewhere.
Wow, this is unexpected!
Are these current professors they are named after?
Unfortunately, the new Enviros seem to be displacing the X17-branded vehicles onto the U1 (combined with a 68-branded Versa there were at least 3 single-deckers on there this afternoon).
The naming is after the founders of the University:
http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/insite/news/intnews2/unibuses_named_after/
Also, the U1's are finding it very hard to do anything like the printed timetable.
Stagecoach seems to be using X17-branded vehicles to increase the number of vehicles on the route:

All of the old habits seem still to be around this year.
Already I have seen vehicles on the U1 with broken displays and many different 'brands' working on the route (X15/X18, 68, X17 as well as obviously Unibus).

Every year for the first few weeks of term the same happens for both the U1 and the NXWM 11/12. It was like it when I was involved 20 years ago. 50% of Warwick Uni students are foreign students and are still finding there way around
You are right Tony every year. In the future these students need to be able to buy and obtain Swift before they even get to the Midlands to study.
Tony are there going to be NX Coventry tickets/products what they are called on Swift that will allow usage in Warwickshire on the 11 to Leamington and 20 to Bedworth?
The 256 going through Staffordshire would be similar only with NXWM, and there are obviously other NXWM routes that go into surrounding counties too.

It's been common during term times throughout the years. Back in 4-5 years ago when I was on the uni, I'd seen Dart, B10M & even Solo cascading on the U1 during the weekdays, and of course all sorts of Olympians branded or unbranded (even got saw Leyland 14023 once).
Yep, it's definitely happened before, but I'm pretty sure not to this extent.
One of the new Enviro 200's worked onto evening runs until about 11pm last night.
I'm pretty sure that's avoidable.
10032 was today (9th) on the X19

Nice!
Do you know whether it also went out on any 16's?
I've not quite worked out the boards yet, but hope to over the coming weeks :)
tbh I didn't see it come back at all, all I saw on the 16 was a Solo, 2 Olympians and a Trident. 10034 was on the X18 if that helps. Also saw "reserve" 33397 and 33911 on the G1.
Noted 6/7 Unilink E400 in convey heading north on the M5 at junct 2 this morning. ..heading to Glasgow possibly ?
10032 & 10041 were in use providing public shuttle service in Silverstone today for the British Superbikes.
